Edit: so after a week, the center stone fell out.
I first took a ring to them to resize up. The ring was originally half black rhodium and half silver. When I got it back, they had coated the entire thing with black rhodium. Not a big deal, still looked beautiful. When the black on the shank started to fade, there was a solder line visible that eventually broke after a month of wearing. When I took it back for repair, they misplaced it and my repair wasn't completed until I called to check in. They located my ring and rushed the job to complete same day. In the rush, they completely removed all the black rhodium (the jewelry thought it was just dirty) and I felt cracked my center stone (they argued that it wasn't cracked) when I brought the cracked stone to their attention, before even looking to see what I was talking about, the manager started with "there are so many imperfections in this ring, so many. What imperfection do you think is new to you" eventually they agreed to replace the center stone and recoat my ring black. When I got my ring back (about a month total of them having it) they had antique it (oxidized) rather than coating in black rhodium. When I asked to clarify what they did, the manager got an attitude and ask "what are you unhappy with now". At that point I just took my ring and left. Now after 1 week there are 2 visible solder lines on the shank, my ring is dingy and tarnished looking silver and turns my finger green from the oxidizing. I now have to take it to another jeweler for proper repair. Never, ever again will I be a customer at this store. Attached are photos of what the ring should look like and after...
