Rent-A-Center — Local services in Union Township

Horrible!!! I got a couch from them. It was a cream colored couch. I wasn’t home. My mom was there. They kept dropping my couch on the ground outside by the time they got it into my house there was scuff marks and it was so dirty and I had to find out from a neighbor that they kept dropping my stuff on the ground. They eventually ordered me a new one and then they tell me I’m getting a brand new fridge and they ended up giving me this everywhere they didn’t give me no shelves for the side of the refrigerator so I had to put all my condiments on the shelves the bottom shelves where you put produce and stuff didn’t even fit. They were too small. The freezer side did not shut unless you slam it because the door was leveled. It was absolutely ridiculous. Then they tell me they’re going to give me a new fridge and have it delivered then they end up telling me they never said that and that they were just going to come over and fix it. I’m calling corporate. This was the worst experience ever. Also Sarah or Sara from the new castle pa store she supposed to be manager and she’s so disrespectful and hung up on my mom and wouldn’t explain why our payment was so high. So instead of explaining she gets mad because my mom was asking how it was that much!!! This place is...

This company needs to go out of business. My problem with them and other stores like them is the fact that they screw over the hardworking or even the innocently poor people.

I went in the other day spoke to a CSR. From this very store went in looking at TVS. I noticed that they hike the prices up on the TVS a lot higher than Retail value. I asked why and the clerk told me that they had to buy the product so they charge an additional charge all so they could make some money on the product.

Not really a good business model if you ask me. Especially being right down the road from a Walmart that can sell you one for a lot cheaper plus you save the extra money that they overcharge you for. I don’t recommend anyone to shop here or Aaron’s. Cause they both do the same exact thing.

For the store… learn about value and how it works. Value is the price someone is willing to pay for something. Not what you think it’s valued at. Also, quit overcharging people for things...

I have no complaints about Rent-A-Center whatsoever. They are an awesome company to be with me and my husband has been with them years now so I have no complaints about them. Everybody up there is nice God they treat my seven-year-old like one of their own when I take them in there.Sara and Rochelle and including a two new delivery drivers and I had to write this because people‘s on here bashing them. I understand it’s a review. but there are some people out there that want to rent to own stuff and they look at reviews before renting to own or before even buying it so I just wanna throw it out there for the people that look at reviews half of the comments on here don’t believe and I’m not just saying it because I know the recent people that work there now I’m saying because it’s a good place to go there when you cannot buy...
