Gold Star — Local services in Union

Had to give it one star to leave a review. I very rarely leave reviews, especially negative as I usually assume the business may have had a bad day. Yet, the amount of money this man charged for a little clasp & “cleaning change and charm” ( according to owner) was more than I expected, but wanted to patronize a local establishment. Nothing was cleaned at all, I then went to another local jeweler to get estimate & it was half the price I was charged. I travel on the bus for an hour and many towns away to get to this jeweler bc ITS WORTH IT. The service is phenomenal. I had a stainless steel bracelet that I needed to get resized. I went to 3 different "upscale" jewelers and they laughed and said it was impossible. I came to gold star bc I used to work in the area. Not only was he able to resize it, but he gave me the extra links just in case I needed it enlarged later on. I refuse to go anywhere else bc all of my experiences here have been phenomenal. Love this jewelery store, live John the owner. I have been going to John store since he was in the Union/Springfield market place where he had a booth.

Beautiful pieces of jewelry, does great repair work, he can wven nake up something you want.

He is amazing and he is professional and friendly and polite.
