Absolutely Love! This store recently opened in this area but bc they have good management you would think they've been there for years! The staff is great! OUTSTANDING customer service! They really go above & beyond in comparison to most retail chains to assist you during your visit. The Manager, Dave, was so awesome when I had a very unfortunate, personal tragedy occur & had previously purchased an item that, bc of this tragedy, needed to return but was past their 30 day return policy. He was more than understanding & sympathetic and made an exception for me - this was a $100 item I no longer had a use for! This meant so much during a very difficult time esp when he told me that I didn't have to rush right over, it wasn't a problem, "whenever you have the chance, bring it back, just tell them Dave said it was ok" (thanks again, Dave) I also get the feeling that the company itself supports & trusts their employees since I called the corporate office first & was told that those types of decisions are up to the store itself. & lastly....THEIR PRICES ARE PHENOMENAL!!! Along with store stock! check them out, I know...
Read moreOllies is a Close out/ Blow out distributor. They generally buy merchandise from manufacturers who have an excess of items and/or products that are expiring soon. Manufacturers who want to unload a large mass of merchandise whether it be because of overstock or a sales pitch that didn't go over too good will unload them to Ollie's cheap. For instance you can find flavors of cereal, candy, pasta other process food that you may of never heard of being made...but Ollie's will buy their remaining stock and liquidate it for profit. Meanwhile they do carry some staples of items that are mainstays too. It is an always fluid selection that you can go every week and find things that you will like. And if there is something that peeks your interests.....then you better buy a few because it'll almost never be in stock...
Read moreThis is the only Ollie's I've been to, so I can't compare it to other stores, but when I first walked in, I thought it was an unorganized mess. After walking around a bit, I didn't care. The prices on everything were far better than I'd found elsewhere, and it wasn't generic junk like I first thought it would be. I've picked up soaps, food, toys, and all sorts of stuff that I would normally buy at various other stores, but for far less here. I never had a problem with the staff, although some have been friendlier than others, but that's anywhere. As cluttered as the store appears, everything's in a fairly logical arrangement and it's not dirty. It's really just a no-frills store not concerned with looking good for no reason. The prices make the cluttered...
