Jaws Souvenirs — Local services in Upper Grand Lagoon

Tons of the same old stuff with “deals” and “sales” everywhere in the store. Nothing amazing. Most things say “Florida” or “Panama City Beach” on them. Tattoos that only last a couple weeks are offered there in pre-determined designs. They do have a small nurse shark in a somewhat small tank indoors where they do live feedings twice a day, and another separate tank with different kinds of fish. At the time of this review, feeding times were at 11am and 6pm daily. There was also a normal fish tank from which they sold tiny live turtles and turtle accessories. Many items were over priced because you could tell they were cheap, from overseas crap. Most of the little toys by the register were overpriced. Staff is horrible. We called earlier to make sure they were feeding the shark as the sign said (feedings at 11 and 6). They told us on the phone that the feeding would be as scheduled.  After waiting 30 minutes in the store, we were told the shark was hibernating and they weren't feeding it until February. Of course sharks don't hibernate and it was actively swimming around the tank (as if it was his normal feeding time). When we mentioned our phone conversation confirming the feeding and that we brought our three year old to see the show, the girl gave us the nasty face (which was very similar to her normal RBF). I would steer clear of this place. They will tell you anything they can to get you in the store. Dishonesty is...

As the saying goes, if I could give them 0 stars I would. As soon as we walk in the have a tank of baby turtles for sale. Of course half of them were dead because they didn't provide enough space for all of them to get out of the water. So against my better judgment I buy some swim trunks which I took back and were labeled large but clearly were more like a small. Went right back there with tags on them and they "don't do exchanges on those". What a joke. It's only 20 bucks but please don't waste your money there like I did. Worst one of these shops I have...
