I'm updating review. Yes bedroom is beautiful, couch tables rugs etc...but my mattress was wrong one. I brought it up and was ask to locate a tag and take a photo. I'm disabled so lifting mattress not a good idea. However I felt around the edges wear a tag are normally be and there was one I can literally just pull off the side or to say the back. The interrupted me to take a photo and send it I did I was right the mattress was soft I was supposed to get a firm. I was told that would be taken care of and they would come out take this one and give me my other one and I still have my comfort guarantee. I'm still waiting and it's been 2 weeks or more it was supposed to come today but they decide not to schedule it even though it is in the system. So now I have to wait because you have to be home in tomorrow I won't be Do this entire process I've done hybrid shopping My whole house is furnished a lot of the stuff is beautiful. The delivery people banged up a piece of furniture and try to hide it but thankfully I brought it to their attention again and I didn't even want to replace me cuz I was fed up but someone came out and they actually fixed it and what they do is not cover it up they actually mold it and redo the damned okay happy. Then I'm waiting for another bedroom set that took about 5 weeks or so and I'm thinking it's going to be great It's flimsy as hell and you cannot return it because it's a direct ship from another vendor. The base I was told to buy instead of using the wood slats I found out later that it was $600 this is where your full size bed for two teenagers that come and go and don't necessarily permanently live here. However my queen bed which I haven't had a bed in 2 years The base that I was told to buy it's $199 My mattress was 2,300 My bedroom scent was probably two grand and I'm still waiting for the mattress to be fixed The communication and service specifically hybrid in the store awful I suggest you touch every single detail you do not accept anything unless it's unwrapped and you can view it If it's hybrid you better make sure everybody knows who's talking to who that is my advice I spent over $15,000 and I have no income I am divorced and disabled. The nicest person I have met through this entire experience was the gentleman that came out to rip tags off that the movers did not So instead of having him do that I thought it was here to repair my chest but he wasn't but guess what That's exactly what he does he went out to his car gladly came in spent his time doing it and you would never know that it had to be fixed It's absolutely stunning and he was the nicest person I have met or spoken to...
Read moreThe sales person was amazingly nice and helpful - thank you Ryan. However, past that the experience has been awful with their customer care person James. I went in to the store with my 85 year old aunt to help her pick out and purchase a power recliner that she desperately needed since she no longer can get up and down easily on her own and has little strength. Again, Ryan was wonderful. My aunt wanted to think about her choices and decided the next day which one she wanted. We called back and Ryan said we could go online and she could apply for R&F credit online and then call him back with the account info. We did that. Then, Ryan said someone from customer care would call to verify and ensure was not fraudulent. Great- no problem. James called us from customer care and he was very difficult to understand over the phone. His enunciation and accent were challenging for me, let alone my aunt who has hearing aids and I explained could hardly understand him. James asked her a series of questions about her credit/past addresses and purchases and I was helping to repeat the questions to her while having him on speaker phone. She answered them all correctly and they sent an email confirmation saying her purchase was authorized and fine. The next day, James calls back again saying the bank had questions and wanted to verify also - even tho she’d already received 2 confirmations and answered questions the day prior. We called TD bank and they said there was no issue just needed a phone number text verification and anything asked the day before was not from them, but R&F. The sales person was wonderful, the TD bank representative was wonderful, but James was definitely a negative and left a bad impression. He wasn’t understanding of my aunts disability at all and wasn’t helpful. I expect more from a...
Read moreMy husband and I visited the Plymouth Meeting location. The woman at the door greeting seemed friendly, at first. Once we were ready to make our purchase, we went back to her to allow her to receive credit for our sale. I knew specifically what I wanted and just needed to see it in person. The item, Jeanette chairs, was online only. I learned this after she became rude following me correcting her misspelling Jeanette when she typed on the screen. I ask questions about the opportunity of seeing the chair in person at another location. She very arrogantly expressed she is the "hybrid" salesperson and she is the "best person" to answer my questions. I'm sharing this, as I am a big box retail manager with 3 decades of senior-level experience and most likely would be HER boss if I ran a Raymour & Flanagan store. You never know who you're dealing with, so treat everyone with respect. After this young lady, a door greeter in sales, needed to be so rude to a customer who was not leaving without a receipt, we smiled and left. It just wasn't worth a conversation with her. We wanted to place an order, quickly, and return home to watch an Eagles game, already in progress. So she didn't even have to really work for this sale. We drove out to the nearest location, King of Prussia and saw a better merchandised store and friendlier associates. The location is brightly lit and just gave a more exclusive and high end experience-which I am used to. Greg met us at the door, listened to my needs and decor goals. He made great suggestions and was patient with my specific and direct personality. I ordered my 6 dining chairs and large area rug with ease. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 10 minutes to the K.O.P. location if you want to shop in that classic furniture store...
