I visited Reb Lobster in King of Prussia, Pa March 7, 2020 and my waiter was Joshua who I found is no longer there.(No surprise there). Let me start by saying once we got the appetizers everything went down hill. Joshua brought the appetizers and didn't bring plates or utensils so we had to tell him that we needed them. Once my friend got his utensils without a knife not sure how he would eat a steak without it. Told Joshua about that he brings a dirty knife. We asked for another which we finally got and in places on the table.(should have been wrapped in a napkin) Next after we are done the appetizers we try to be helpful by putting the plates together for the bus boy(oh so wrong we were). The bus boys comes along to gather the dishes and once he got the last dish my friend asks if he is okay and does he have everything. Why oh why did he ask that question? 😵😵😵 Dishes go flying everywhere. The bus boy and a couple of servers help him clean up the mess, he was very apologetic which was fine then comes along Joshua with our meal and was going to put the food down on the table that wasn't wiped down yet so I say "you can't put the food on the table it needs to be wiped down!" Joshua grabs napkins to do so and I told him him needs to get a wet soapy rag to do so, in the midst of this another server comes to wipe the table down for us. So once Joshua put the food down I ask if we could have more silverware and he asked what was wrong with the silverware on the table.(The silverware was the only thing that wasn't removed after the disaster.) I am so surprised me or my friend didn't loose it at this point. Next we ask for another drink of which we waited about 15 minutes still no drink so I track down the manager and tell him about the whole fiasco so he got our drinks, he apologized and did not charge us for the drinks which was cool but we should have been given a discount on our meal. Now we are waiting and waiting for the check which took forever. I wanted to walk out but my friend didn't want us going to jail for running out on the bill which I would say we wouldn't have been wrong had we did so. This whole situation was still bothering me so March 14, 2020 I called and spoke to a supervisor who was very apologetic after I told her about what happened, she was the one who told me that she was sorry I got Joshua and that he was a horrible waiter could not handle job and he quit. She would have the general manager who I believe his name was Simeon call me but he wasn't in that day. Well it is now a week later and the general manager has not called me. It will be a very long time before I think of setting foot in the King of Prussia, PA Red...
Read moreI’ve been meaning to write this review for a while now, but still find myself so baffled by this experience that I wasn’t sure how to do it. We visited this Red Lobster several weeks ago for lunch. We don’t get to go out to eat, or even out in general very often anymore because we have a medically complex child and always have to worry about germs and packing his medical equipment. He has a tracheostomy and feeding tube. In short, it takes a lot of effort and financial planning these days.
We were in KOP already for a doctor’s appointment at a CHOP office for our son so we were all packed up and thought it would be nice to be able to have lunch together and enjoy some much needed family time. As soon as we were seated it got very uncomfortable very quickly. The manager came over and randomly sat down at the table next to us and she started asking us questions about “what brought us there”, etc. We normally wouldn’t think much about this because managers do this kind of thing all the time, but she was very clearly ogling our son and the bags of equipment that we had brought in and we never ONCE saw this woman sit down to speak with ANY other patrons after they came in, and there were plenty of other patrons that came in to our area of the restaurant. Our waitress was nice enough and treated us like normal parents out to eat with their toddler so we commented to each other that it had been a little weird, but otherwise brushed it off.
A short while later, however, the manager randomly showed up OUTSIDE THE WINDOW clearly pretending to be cleaning them. I say “clearly” because she randomly spritzed the window next to ours and wiped it a bit while watching our table and then crept by our window while watching us and not cleaning it at all. Every now and then, other employees would randomly peek over at us as well. This place is getting 1 Star from me because you have to give one and the waitress was nice to us (I’m sorry I don’t remember her name) and the food came out decent. The manager turned this very rare family outing for us into an unenjoyable experience, made my husband and I feel like fish in an aquarium, and made us feel like our special needs son was her personal circus entertainer. We have never experienced anything like this while out with our son ever. We’ll probably still go to other Red Lobster locations in the future, but not this...
Read moreI was with a party of 8 to celebrate a birthday. We waited for over 2 hours while having an already made reservation. To pass some time, we went outside, chatting amongst ourselves and then a waiter came out with a tray of biscuits for us to "snack on". This wasnt very professional, but since we had already drove over an hour to get there we decided to just be patient. When we were waiting, over 20 people exited the restaurant stating that they weren't served any food. Keep in mind these people were already seated. Upon waiting for those long hours, we were finally seated. We waited for another hour after placing orders and the only thing that came out were our drinks and biscuits. Soon after, a employee came stating that because our party was over 6 we would be forced to add a 20% tip (this was not stated upon making the reservation). This waitress also made a smart remark about how she wouldnt wait over 3 hours for food and she went on a long, unwanted tangent about how she doesnt eat outside and cooks at home with her husband. As if we asked for that. Mind you we haven't even recieved our meals yet. We dismissed her and continued waiting. After another hour of waiting we began asking questions about why is the wait so long. They gave excuse while other people who came after us were served. Eventually another waiter came out with a big smirk on his face and stated how since we said we were planning on leaving, the kitchen did not even touch our food. Of course we would say something like that after waiting that long, but we still placed the order so the kitchen should have been making our food if we were still seated at their establishment. After a while we left without our food. Many others followed suit and complained about the wait. This establishment is very unorganized and confused. If they keep this up this location will eventually close. We arrived at 6pm and left at 10pm without ANY food. This is ridiculous and I am never patronize this location again. Please, make improvements if you care about...
