I'm giving 2 stars only because I've had good experiences when shopping in person, but their buy online, pick up in store is horrible. And the way the staff treats phone calls is abysmal. I placed an order on a Monday (before 3pm) for pickup in store. When it wasn't ready by Wednesday, I called to see what was going on. My first call went unanswered. My second, I immediately got placed on hold when the phone was answered without any greeting. When they finally took me off hold a few minutes later, I asked about the order. They said they would check and put me on hold again. For HALF AN HOUR. Eventually, I just hung up and called back. The phone was immediately answered and I told them my issue. She said she would check on it. Put me on hold again for another 10 minutes only to come back and say they're too busy and the order won't be ready. I asked if they had any idea when it would be ready, as it was already 2 days past when it was supposed to be done, and she said she didn't know. I understand that they're busy, but they shouldn't advertise pickup same day if they can't deliver on that. And the fact that they just forget about customers they put on hold is horrible. Read moreNo associates acknowledged my existence, while there were a few milling around. When I got to the registers, the cashier was ringing someone, and there was another associate up front. I am not an employee, and not getting an employee discount, so I chose to wait to have someone getting paid to ring me up. After waiting my turn, the cashier logged off the register and told me I had to ring myself up because the registers are old. The other associate didn't say anything. I informed the cashier I politely waited for I'm not getting an employee discount, so I'd rather not ring myself up. She told me no. By time I was done, she was assisting someone else, and so was the other associate up front. I guess if Michael's wants to be walmart, I'll just go to Walmart. Read moreThis is the best Micheal’s ever. The service is excellent. So here’s what happened I wanted a patch for my backpack. But I couldn’t find it in the store. Then I asked an employee “do you know where this is (shows app that says the patch is in an unknown aisle)” then the employee immediately helped us and showed us where it was supposed to be. But it wasn't there so she got another employee and she went to the back and got a lot of patches even though I only asked for one for me. These employees are so kind.
