This outlet mall from my youth used to be the perfect shopping getaway from the mall. Alas, times changed as did people's tastes and so went the outlet mall. Doesn't seem anyone really had the ability to build it back up. Now with its ownership in the hands of a well known ....well....less than reputable land and building "entrepreneur".....I doubt it will ever see anything close to its heyday. The last holdout tenants tell me that they are leaving (if not already gone) due to various "disagreements" with new ownership. Now it is desolate and they’ve even come and pulled up the bushes, I guess to avoid keeping them up anymore. It should be made available at a price to keep businesses open or torn down before it looks any worse. Read moreI went to Winn Dixie in Lake park to the pharmacy and picked up a few items, Winn Dixie in Lake Park is my favorite Grocery store, I hated Winn they did away with the one on Madison hwy, but I've moved out more to Valdosta near hwy 84 & we could @ least go to Harveys Grocery store since they were apart of Winn Dixie and now they're Food lion. I would love to see a Winn Dixie built somewhere off of hwy 84 between Quitman and Valdosta, but that's wishful thinking but I can tell you this they sure would stay very busy that's for sure.
