I can't tell you much about the food or decor, but I refuse to give them the benefit of the doubt after dealing with their service. After using the online ordering feature on their website and receiving an email that gave me confirmation on an expected DELIVERY time, I proceeded to wait AN HOUR for my food. I wouldn't have let it go that long had I not been otherwise distracted. Regardless, AN HOUR later, I did NOT get a knock or ring at my door with my food. I got a very snippy phone call from a male employee of the restaurant wondering why I had not been in to pick up my order. I explained that I had ordered for delivery, had been required to put in my address to select a delivery location and received an email of confirmation for my delivery. He stated he had no idea why it had put it in as a delivery order. This is fine. I can deal with technological difficulties and understand that sometimes computers don't necessarily work nicely with humans. However, the employee then asked to confirm my address, stated that my address is waaay out of their delivery area. I then asked why the online program would have accepted my address? He said he didn't know and then asked, "Well what do you want us to do?" in a very short tone. I asked if they were still willing to deliver being as I could not come pick it up, and after going back and forth about it to himself on the phone with me, he said yes, they'd still deliver it. I then asked if it would be cold and his reply was, "Well, it came out of the oven twenty minutes ago," at which point I promptly cut him off to save him the effort of talking any longer and decided to cancel my order (which took two complete phone calls to accomplish). The experience was enough to stop me from trying them again in the future. But I guess there are plenty of pizza places...
Read moreBy far one of the worst places I have been in! My wife and I walked in and ordered a pizza and sat in the dinning room to wait. An employee walked out of the kitchen and into the dining area, set a bundle of pizza boxes on the floor and began to take the plastic rap off then set them on a table, used his bare hands to clean the mess off the floor and began to put them together and would set them on the floor. This is also the walk way in and out of the restroom. I approached the guy that said he was in charge and asked him if that was all right, he said no and would take care of it. We continued to observe the same kid get up go into the kitchen and would take the pizzas out of the oven and put them into the pizza boxes. He would then open boxes of ingredients, on the floor, discard the boxes in the trash and then go back to the pizzas. And if that's not bad enough, the whole time he would stand there in the middle of everyone making our pizza, sit and rub his face and hair. Not once did he have gloves on or wash his hands. I talked to the same guy and told him we wanted our money back and we was leaving. He said he understood and would take care of the problem again. We went out and sat in our jeep and watched for another 5 minutes or so. Watched this kid do the same thing, no one said anything to him, the pizza boxes still setting on the floor. And the whole time I'm thinking about the dog shit I had just stepped in and wiped off my shoes before I went in to order my pizza! Walking where the pizza boxes were setting and this kid had cleaned the floor with his bare hands and then served you...
Read moreHonestly I have been an almost weekly regular for about a year until recently. I was very excited to find a place that made gluten free pizza that tastes decent. I was, however, slightly put off by the fact that repeat orders always cost a different amount depending on who was working, and certain workers made me feel like they had certain biases against me for ordering the same pizza each week. Over the phone they would act like they remembered me, but not in a good way.
The quality and care of the staff have declined in recent months. The ingredients began to taste old so I started to just order the dough to go and top it with my own fresh ingredients. Consistency just wasn't there.
Then on my last visit, I walked in and ordered just the dough to go. The cashier took my cash and coins for payment, then walked back to the walk in fridge and without washing her hands or putting on gloves, handled my crust with her bare dirty hands and slapped it into a to go box, hard enough to crack the half frozen crust.
Needless to say, I lost my appetite and wasted $8 on a crust I was too grossed out to use. The crack was so large that it would have made a mess everywhere anyway if I had tried to put sauce and toppings on it. It also appeared off colored like it had been freezer burned or thawed and refrozen. When you have food sensitivities, you're very cautious about what you eat, and know that you can't risk just one bad food item.
Instead of complaining to the apathetic teenage crew on staff, I just won't be returning. I'm sad I lost one of my favorite...
