Went in just yesterday and the Doctor requested I get a chest X-ray. What the doctor didn't do is explain why. While I appreciate the schooling they do to become doctors, ordering procedures that cost the patient money with no explanation is what causes patients to ignore their Doctor. I'm a reasonable adult. If something is needed tell me why. Dr. Collins was wonderful (Washougal location). It was my first visit to Vancouver Clinic as I was establishing with a new PCP. I was left waiting for a little while before she came in but she quickly acknowledged the wait and thanked me for being patient. She had spent the time diving into my chart and history so that she was prepared when meeting with me. She was very sweet and genuine and involved me in all care and decisions.
