Listen.... I get it.... It's for kids but it doesn't have to be abnoxious.
The staff was limited during the 4 to 6 pm hours and nearly every table was dirty and not cleared. The staff looked miserable and frankly I don't know if I can blame them... The music was so loud that my kid covered his ears for the first 10 minutes he was there. The racket of needing to buy a credit card to put the tokens (points) on it is fine until you find out you are required to put a minimum of $10 on each card you buy. I was told conflicting things on this. When my kids spent 2 $10 cards so I went to refill with $5 on each and I was told the minimum was $10 even for refills.
I didn't expect the pizza to taste good and my god it lived up to my expectations. It was very much so something I used to get served in public schools. My kids enjoyed it but if you're a parent just eat before hand the large pizza with 2 toppings was $25 and it was awful. My kids had half the pizza with just cheese and it's not much better withiut toppings.
Bathrooms were clean though and when chucky came out he was energetic with the kids.
The games are fun for a bit and they have a lot of variety to keep kids of all ages entertained for an hour or two. The prizes that you "earn" are the standard affair of unobtainable. You can get a mid size Lego rocket ship for 4000 tickets or a whistle for 60. Not much inbetween. However my 6 and 4 year olds felt like they earned those prizes and were very proud of them.
Not surprisingly I don't enjoy this place besides being able to play a few games with the kids but I'm glad my kids enjoy it. Very expensive to go and I can see why large families don't attend very often as it...
Read moreNo one got into a fist fight while I was there. There was a sign on the front door excluding weapons from the property however. Also, some bratty kid with a lung infection kept coughing chunky green glop all over the place because his parents couldn't keep him home, or teach him to cover his cough.
I really enjoyed the root beer that came with the pizza we ordered. It was very strong like the machine was mixing too much syrup or not enough water. It was the best flavored root beer I've had in a long time. Pizza itself wasn't anything amazing, but it wasn't bad either. The crust had an interesting flavored oil on it that was enjoyable, but ultimately unremarkable as I don't recall the flavor of the oil. The girl serving beers was presentable and had excellent customer service. The guy at the door doing the kid check was very thorough and made certain my kids were mine and that the lung butter boy did not try to follow me.
The young lady in the mouse costume has to deal with bratty monsters all day and doesn't deserve your little special unique snowflake monster trying to kick, punch, or trip her. She does however make it appear that she enjoys hugs from children while wearing a giant fur coat. Overall the employees were all super amazing and any lesser people would have lost their minds working there with a bunch of brats all day.
Lots of parking was easy to get to and conveniently located just off SR500.
My kids favorite game was some circular flowing water game that had different size and colors of floaty plastic floating in a circular stream to be extracted by a robot claw arm and dumped onto a scale to be weighed for...
Read moreThey have a small children's area. where the children can ride on little rides That rock back-and-forth or go round in circles.
It's a big area and it has lots of Different types of games you can play. Some of the games are easy The kids to handle and some of our little harder.
The games now use game cards so you don't have to worry about coins. You still have to keep track of tickets though.
The games don't provide you with Very many tickets.
I noticed 4 places you could use to count your tickets at. If it eats your tickets and dose not give you you pint out of your total. the people behind the counter will give you the amount of tickets you lost. Some of them are super nice and give you a little more.
The prize Quality has really gone down. For a 156 thick you and only get things you would buy from a Coin machine. For 200 tickets you can get a small bag of cotton candy.
You need at least 2000 tickets to get something that the kids actually want.
Its vary loud so it's a little hard to carry on a conversation. Some of the Employees will allow you to bring outside food and drinks others will not.
They do Children's birthday parties if you buy their package they will provide you with a small cake. You are allowed to bring in your own birthday cake If you do not like their options.
