The ppl walked me to my tree and took it up for, I am a disabled woman now is riding in a car. I was sent to a woman. Her name was aliano or arliano. I asked her if she was having a good day and she didn't respond or talk with me. She didn't ask me if I found everything okay. She was very rude and aggressive with me. I asked her if she could take my things over to customer service because I had left my target cards in my car. All of a sudden she could speak English and said you can't leave my line without paying for this stuff. I said I'm going to pay for it but I'm going to do it at customer service where I can get my card scanned and get my 5% off and you are being very rude to me. The manager ended up being one of the ladies who helped me take my stuff out and helped me on the floor to find what I was looking for. They moved all my stuff over and the tree to the customer service desk. When I came back in in my writing cart she was turning around glaring at me straight at me. She wouldn't stop and so I waved at her. She was shorter probably 4ft11. She was Mexican. She tried to speak to me in Spanish. I told her no Espanol. I spoke English. Again. I asked her if she was having a okay day and she said it was fine and was rude to me at the line but when I came in in my car she was glaring at me and I was crying cuz I needed help. My son showed up and saw her glaring at me and then she turned around all of a sudden she started telling the customers. Thank you. Have a great day. Thank you! Have a great day and having interactions with them which only because I had a bad interaction with her and I told her she should have asked me how my day was and to have a great day but she did not. I talked to her manager and all of a sudden she was loud doing this. Manager took me outside and assured me that she would talk with her but that wasn't enough. The manager said that she didn't understand and spoke Spanish well. She understood very well what I was saying. Maybe hard of hearing too. No she heard everything I was saying and was still very rude to me!. Arliono het name. More needs to be done about this woman. She needs to be fired!! Immediately customer service is their number one priority. Getting people through the line. I told her how to put my stuff into the baskets and bins that I bought. She was still rude. Like I said when I came in she was glaring at me in my cart while I was waiting for my son. He witnessed two glaring at me and that was totally uncalled for. Her job needs to go to someone who really needs it and can treat people with...
Read moreMy first visit at any Target and it was pretty disappointing. I don't shop there, never had a reason to. I had just worked 10 hrs so I was dressed comfortable, sweats/large sweater, hair in messy bun. After receiving a gift card for $50 I went to Target to purchase an outfit "self care". I had a hard time finding things in my size and the selection of cute tops was also lacking. I finally found something and went to use my gift card, there was an issue with it and I was told to purchase the items and then take it Customer Service to have them fix the issue.
The first person was clueless so I asked for a manager. Although nicer than the other employees, the manger then made comments that I understand $50 may be a lot of money for me and how she understood that I couldn't afford to shop at Target, something about all people have their own journey and questioned how I purchased the items if the gift card didn't work....I was just embarrassed at this point because she judged me based on my outfit instead of actually helping. Exhausted from my long work day/week and now being embarrassed, I just wanted to leave. I wished them a happy new year and left.
In the end I'll just give the card back to the person who purchased it so they can at least get a refund for themselves. I don't understand the hype of this place, definitely have no reason to return.
UPDATE: The gift card was given back to the purchaser and the card information has been stolen from somewhere in the Midwest. Target sent a new card. I wouldn't trust Target with a...
Read moreThis kid named Jack saved my butt! I've been all over trying to find Vegan treats for my secret santa at work, but to no avail. I have to go to work tomorrow and was going to arrive practically empty handed for my secret santa, who has been vegan for years now. But, lo and behold, a brave young man, whom goes by the name Jack, answered my desperate phone call to target. And despite the call coming in right before closing time our hero, Jack, looks up one of the chocolate products google said should be vegan and discovered there were 4 products left of the necessary treat: Organic Panama Extra Dark Chocolate. Insatiable as I was, I demanded he put one or two on hold for me at guest services for prompt purchase upon my arrival (when they open the next morning), and without hesitation, Jack agreed. Still unsure my day was saved, I begged for proof of the vegan ingredient. And with that, courageous Jack, swift as an arrow, dashed to the aisle in which the chocolate resided; he promptly read aloud the ingredients to verify it's vegan integrity. Satisfied with a successful vegan endeavor I thanked this bold young lad for his valiant efforts and promised a fitting review of 5 stars to target on his behalf. This night, hence forth, shall forever be known as the night Jack rescued me from irresponsible Christmas work commitments. Thank you Jack; and thank you Target for taking on such a worthy team member! Please remember this little venture whenever considering him for a promotion, raise, or...
