Extremely rude staff! At first when I first walked into the store I couldn't believe it was empty of customers. After asking the im gonna guess Bow Smith a simple question about ammo, I realized exactly why the store was empty. Now mind you there was one other person in the store besides me and my daughter, when asked about a product (that they only had three different types of) i was told by the wanna be bow Smith that he was to busy to answer my question. That I needed to go find someone else. Again, this man, (not sure if he's the owner) was literally looking at a bow with no customers at his counter. When asked why he couldn't answer a simple question and why the attitude, I was told he didn't have time for me period! Not a place I'd recommend to any of...
Read moreI and my sister brought my 96 year old father to Cooks this morning (5/12). The experience was not good. He wandered over to the gun section to look for a cleaning kit. They have a great selection of fishing supplies, but best of all they have "real life" experience, so they can tell you what the fish are biting, what colors, scents and poles and lines are best for the weather condition and water conditions. They are friendly and professional, too. I have bought many a Christmas present for my two sons and their father over the years...fishing poles and accessories, archery equipment (my son took classes there and learned the right way to shoot a bow) camping equipment, and other outdoor stuff. My advice is check out Cook's. It's fun to shop at a local business and talk to nice people who really care about...
