I have always used Verizon and been to several of their stores over the last several years. I noticed that many of the stores lately have been going downhill with employee friendliness and assistance both in the store and on the phone. This store, however, has always been wonderful to me. I have been here three times in the last two years or so and have always gotten in and out, felt like the employees aren’t pushing products/plans, and genuinely seem to care about providing exceptional service to not only me, but every other customer as well. The manager, Mark, is great. Not only does he and his employees provide great customer service, but they always send me home with all my questions answered and not feeling like I got swindled into a phone or plan I didn’t want or need. Read moreIn February I went in to trade my phone, I had a family plan with two Lines. I was paying only $200. Stephanie said by upgrading we get two “free” tablets adding just $10 each for the line. She assured us that using my fathers military and senior discount along with auto pay we would be “saving” money. Yet she dismissed my questions of what my new bill would be.
We paid $500 that day. Which is just the sales tax for all the devices! Our first bill was another $500. Which includes the activation fees.
But after returning to store. Stephanie assure me again that the bill will return back to normal. But do you want to guess what my new normal is? $400!!!!!!!!! I am updating this review because while I did have a pleasant experience at the store, I have had an absolutely terrible experience with the Verizon company since then. My bill came in more than $100 over what Stephanie quoted me in the store, and I was told by the customer service representatives on the phone that the girl at the store must have lied to me to make the sale, regarding the pricing of my devices/plans. My monthly bill is much greater than I was quoted as well, and Verizon isn't doing anything to honor the information I was given at the store. I have spent hours talking with representatives, and this issue has not been resolved. I will not be using Verizon...
