I don't doubt that Gloria may be great, but I just called to get a rough estimate on hemming a one layer dress and I spoke with Gloria's daughter Rae. She was rude as heck, and also acted completely annoyed that I was calling. She refused to give me any kind of ballpark on hemming and I finally said "ok so can you tell me if it's closer to 50 cents or a thousand dollars?" She said "we don't charge people a thousand dollars for a hemming, but we certainly don't charge fifty cents." Unhelpful. Eventually she was willing to say that it starts at $20 but can go up anywhere from there. Which is all I was asking in the first place. I don't know what Gloria is like but if Rae is in charge now, she is gonna run this business into the ground. I have no tolerance for rudeness when I am trying to patronize a local business. Do NOT take your daughter to this business!! I regret walking through her door. Gloria was beyond rude to my daughter about her dress and her body. My daughter has a tall, athletic build. Gloria didn’t think she could alter a homecoming dress which is fine, but to body shame a 15 year old is unacceptable!
