Terrible service for 5 years. Mark Miller is the Postmaster here. He can’t hear us, he talks over us with excuses. We’ve complained. Filed numerous complaints. Year 1: 2018 previous resident’s mail continues to be delivered. Failure to to follow filed forwarding instructions for snowbirds. Failed to deliver single residence mail. I had to re-mail to Florida. Non-snowbird mail went to Florida.
Year 2: 2019 previous resident’s mail continues to be delivered. Repeated delivery errors. Bought PO Box just to get mail in timely manner, NOT 3-6 months later.
Year 3: 2020 previous resident’s mail continues to be delivered STILL! Filled out separate forms for forwarding. Repeated delivery errors. Concluding reading comprehension is a real problem. PO Box still to get mail in timely manner.
Year 4: 2021 finally stopped delivering previous owner mail. Decided to not try forwarding. Rerouted mail to email. They did not deliver tax bill, or plate renewal. Still have PO Box.
Year 5: 2022 USPS overbooks small mailbox with holiday junk. Deliverer complains there’s no room and decides not to deliver AT ALL because it’s full of junk mail! No notification of delivery denial. PO Box is getting expensive for few pieces of mail.
Year 6: 2023 USPS I have concluded they are unable to read. I get my neighbors mail often. they are addressed correctly, but in the wrong box, I can’t get my statements in a timely manner to pay them.

Read moreI want to start out by saying that the people who staff the front area are quite lovely. I've always had great interactions with them, and if my review was solely based on their service, I'd give 5 stars.
The reason I have taken off stars is because I am continually frustrated with the parking situation. There is essentially nowhere for customers to park unless you have an accessibility permit. It doesn't matter what time of day I stop by, morning, afternoon, near closing time - every single time the parking lot is completely full. And it's not because it's busy, the busiest I've seen it during these times is maybe 1 or 2 other customers besides myself inside. This is especially frustrating when all I need to do is drop off a pre-paid package. There used to be a drop off for packages in the back, which would help with this problem, but they have stopped doing allowing this. The parking became a problem within the last year, prior to 2023, I had never had this issue in the 15 years I've been going to the Verona location. I hope it gets resolved soon because the frustration is not worth continuing to utilize this location, which is unfortunate when the employees...

I've visited this post office very often including during a confusing period of moving, changing names and also going away for several weeks during which i needed to have my mail and packages held and this was all happening kind of at the same time. Every time I'm there, the staff was extremely helpful and direct about what i needed to do and what options I had. I guess most people don't bother to review a post office unless they have a bad experience and that's why there are so many bad reviews? I also have used this post office to deliver really important, time-sensitive documents express and both times everything arrived on time and in good condition, sometimes even earlier than expected! The staff really are as personable as they can be considering the situation, and I sometimes catch them delivering saturday mail at my front porch always earlier than i expect it! the only reason i am leave one star off is because of how small the inside is and how i wish it was open just half...
