☺︎ The good ☺︎ ►Beautifully renovated warehouse / very clean both inside and out. ►The employees at the register were very kind & efficient.
☹︎ The bad ☹︎ ►The quality of the Merchandise is seriously lacking. I've been to countless "Goodwill Outlet" locations all over the country, and I've never walked out the door having only spent 30minutes and $4... ► When the employees were putting out new bins, the customers in this store were acting very hostile and aggressive, pushing and shoving to get to the bin, and then to the item first. It was unlike anything I've ever seen in a retail store setting. (Im guessing that this is why they have a uniformed, "on-duty" police officer affixed at the front of the store).
Overall, I must say that as of right now I would not necessarily recommend this store to a friend; however, I plan to check this location out one more time to see if maybe my last visit was just a fluke. IWill update my review...
Read more"Bin style" Goodwill location which has a more chaotic assortment of items. Seemed like a lower-quality selection compared to other Goodwills in the area. Many of the bins contained items that were not in good shape, quite literally the "bottom of the barrel". Came at 5pm so maybe all the nicer stuff had already been picked out.
The people working the register were friendly and helpful. Had some items to donate, the drop-off is on the back side of the building. From the front store entrance I needed to drive back on the road and take the next right turn to reach it. It was an unmanned loading dock with a blue scissor lift which had a blue donation bin on it. Not very obvious as there are other loading docks to the left and right of it. Would be nice if there was a sign visible from the road. It was also dark/unlit and felt pretty sketchy.
I probably wouldn't recommend this location compared to other VB Goodwills, but it may still be worth checking out periodically if their...
Read moreWhen it first opened it was fun and pleasant but some of the same reasons we stopped going to the Hampton store are now showing up here. I know how an outlet store works and have been going to them for over a decade but I’m getting really sick of a select few people being treated with more privileges and benefits than others. No single person should be receiving opportunities that aren’t offered to every single customer equally. You know the employees? Great, proud for you but why should that entitle you to secret items that no one else is shown. Why should you be allowed to have three or four carts when everyone else is allotted one. The Pièce de résistance, if you fairly and legitimately obtain an item one of these people wanted, they end up walking out with it, not you. Their buddies in the back make sure of it. This place has gotten trashy, less and less fun and certainly more privatized to only a select few. No fair-weather or average customer stands a chance to get...
