Subway — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

Don't waste your time here, keep driving. One mile away there is a phenomenal subway at providence Square. Unfortunately, last night I pulled up in front of the Arrowhead Plaza Subway on Princess Anne Rd. a couple minutes after 8pm. As I was entering my pickup order on the app, the young man sees me (as I'm the only car there), he turns off the open sign and leaves at 8:15pm. He walks into the convenience store next door, comes back a minute later and lets himself back in the subway without turning back on the OPEN sign. So I'm think he needed something maybe....Tylenol, chewing gum, whatever, no big deal, idc.... I just want my tuna melt and a good night's sleep. BTW kid walked right past my car twice, obviously knows I'm ordering. #sorude Confused and apprehensive by now, I approach the door (wearing my mask, of course) and knock. He opens the door a fraction of a centimeter and tells me his manager has authorized him to close and secure this location early as he is the only worker there tonight. He apologizes. I say all good, no problem. *If you are closing early or redirecting customers to another location, consider POSTING IT ON YOUR WEBSITE FIRST. Believe it or not, we depend upon this valuable time-saving...

DO NOT ORDER A SERIES SANDWICH!!! Subway is just a bad restaurant now!!! You don’t get extra meat and cheese. You barely get regular cheese. If you order more or an ingredient they never read your order, and you don’t get it! I have stopped going to all subways unless I’m in a hurry or have no choice. Subway is the worse type of deli style restaurant there is. I see them going out of business in the near future because of there bad service...

The last sub I bought had wilted lettuce, super thin slice of tomato, the ingredients were below par and staff maybe the worse because they were poor listeners. They did not put even one napkin in the Togo bag. I've since read they are having fiscal challenges, not just the one near me.
