Went into this store yesterday the location in Visalia ca, I had a simple or so I thought return, and some shopping to do. It starts off with the cashier who had a horrible attitude her name was Francine, or Francesca something to that affect its on my receipt but I don't have it handy. I had a vase to return, I gave her my receipt which was only like from 3 days prior. Told her ill just take store credit because I have a purchase anyway and the money will be going right back to the store anyway. She said "no I will be putting it back to your MasterCard",I asked "why?" she said "because that's how you paid you cant get store credit". So I said ok ill take my receipt back and we can pretend I didn't have it and then I can get store credit. To which she replies with a horrible attitude "No I already saw your receipt". And then as if I'm being some super difficult customer calls out to the Manager I think his name was Gabe. She said can you come here I need you for this customer. He comes over and I tell him I just wanted my 11.90 returned to store credit instead of my card because I'm literally gonna pay for my cart full of stuff, and he said just return it without the receipt. And then the rude cashier says I need your id for the return and that was that. Seriously, why did they make it such a big deal, I was so embarrassed, I hate doing returns as it is, and its not like I was doing some massive return with a bunch of issues I just had one vase to return. Everyone was staring at me because the cashier was acting like I was making a big deal or trying to something I wasn't supposed to. I will never come to this store again, and I am redecorating my entire house these next couple of weeks and was prepared to spend a couple thousand dollars, because my interior decorator and I had picked pretty much all the décor from here, but no thanks ill take my money elsewhere. I have never been treated like this before and cant believe they were this rude and belittling to me. Thanks but no thanks Hobby Lobby you have rude and unwelcoming employees...
Read moreThis store has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! 3 times i've been here the cashier actually WALKED AWAY right in the middle of my transaction to help another customer who had just walked in. The cashiers GO OUT OF THEIR WAY to be difficult. Today I tried to use a coupon & wound up being HUMILIATED in front of the whole line & treated as if I were stupid, when the young woman FINALLY realized she was WRONG ( told by her supervisor) she STILL WOULD NOT TAKE THE SAVINGS OFF! When I spoke to the manager he couldn't care less & told me to go ahead & call the corporate offices but it would do no good because he was GOING TO CALL THEM FIRST SO HE COULD TELL " HIS SIDE OF THINGS" Ummmm, "HIS SIDE OF THINGS" what are we 12 years old? Word of wisdom- Michael's & Joanne's carry the same merchandise, THEY HONOR COUPONS WITH INTEGRITY ( even from competitors! ) I've NEVER HAD POOR SERVICE AT EITHER OF THOSE STORES and the employees have ( obviously ) had GREAT TRAINING in customer service. I spend 100's of dollars on food crafts for the holidays and if YOU AT HOBBY LOBBY DON'T CARE ABOUT MY BUSINESS ( your manager made that clear ) I HAVE NO PROB SPENDING THAT $ AT ONE OF THE MANY OTHER CRAFT...
