Read moreWe tried Boston House of Pizza last night on a friend’s recommendation. At first bite, the flavor was good—the cheese and toppings carried the experience. The crust started out fine, but as we kept eating, it became clear the dough itself was completely unseasoned. The pepperoni was okay, while the Hawaiian had more flavor.
Pricing was another issue. They charged $26.99 for each XL pizza. Oddly, they don’t offer a “large”—their sizes jump from small to medium to extra large. So when I ordered a large, I got corrected. Honestly, if your biggest size is “extra large,” that’s just a large by any other name.
I originally tried to order online because their website clearly advertises 20% off online orders (screenshot attached), but the discount never applied. I called in and was told they’d “figure it out,” so I ordered over the phone. When I picked up, I reminded the cashier about the discount issue, but she admitted she didn’t know how to apply it. In the end, I paid $60 for two mid-level pizzas with no discount.
The place was empty on a Friday night, which in hindsight should have been a warning. Overall, it wasn’t terrible—but it definitely wasn’t worth the price or the hassle. I won’t...
Read moreBoston house of pizza is one of the best pizza places in town. I’m from Chicago and it was hard finding good pizza in this area until I stumbled upon this place. I’ve been in the Lemoore, Hanford and Visalia area for a long time and honestly I had just given up. I went on Grubhub and found this spot because I wanted to try different pizza places in the area and this place checked about every box. I’m a Chicago girl and out there it’s all about the sausage pizza and NO ONE had good sausage pizza until I tried their pizza and it really made me smile, not only that, but they cut their extra large pizza into squares which I’ve missed and love. Additionally, they cook the pizza to protection, I love when the cheese is just the right amount of toasted and they nail it every time. Here are a couple things I are some things they can improve on, 1 add Large pizza to the menu, in all honesty that’s the go to size for everyone and it sucks that y’all don’t offer that size. I am a family of 3 people, we cannot take down an extra large pizza, next the prices are very expensive and the wings are not that great. Given this brand has an East coast concept and feel, do better...
