Subway — Restaurant in Visalia

I'm happy that there's a quick Sammie Drive Thru near my place but at the same time I wish it could be of better quality.. like a Jersey Mike's lol. But.. given that it is Subway you already know what you're walking or "driving" into. We haven't been to Subway in a while but my wife was craving a meatball sub and I could go for a spicy Italian, we drove into the drive thru lane and immediately because the sun was glaring on the kiosk screen and my wife is a little short she couldn't see anything.. Right in that moment we get a car behind us, so we decide to come back around and let the other car place the order due to our situation.. even myself being a little taller I could barely see the screen myself so we swung back around and tried to place our order as we argued over the screen glare lol. We got to the window a few minutes later, the woman who helped us was nice but clearly didn't want to be there. It was more of a "here's your stuff" you can go kind of day. We got two footlongs and two drinks, still can't beat the price but man have these subs changed! My wife liked her meatball on the Italian herb and cheese and mine was "ok". I got the Italian bread which seemed to be two tops of the bread? Maybe I'm tripping but it didn't feel like the bread had a bottom just two top parts, plus both of our sodas just tasted like carbonated water. Overall I don't think we're going to make our way back down here anytime soon. Rather wait and go to Togo's or another...

Now called Taqueria Azteca. For easy location its in strip mall next to REI Dublin. Best Mexican food I have had in the Dublin/Pleasanton area in a long time. Quaint little place with very friendly and accommodating staff. My shredded chicken burrito was excellent. Every thing was fresh and the salsa house made (and for sale to go). My wife's chicken enchilada was generous and excellent. We both would recommend the shredded chicken vs. the traditional pieces. Shredded seemed more tender.
