The Hyde (former Lamp Liter Conference Center) — Local services in Visalia

This place has horrible service and communication. They are rude, they change times that they will allow you into the building on short notice. We were supposed to be let in at 12, they changed to the time to 1 and then didn't even unlock the doors until 1:05 after calling numerous times and pounding on the doors and windows. Once inside we saw the carpets hadn't been vacuumed, there was a water leak from the in the mens bathroom so there were buckets full of water, there were no paper towels in the bathrooms. The staff was not helpful we had to ask several times when we needed something. The lights we burned out leading up to the entrance so people had to walk in the dark to the front door. They did provide and set up the dinner buffet, but then left so the wedding party had to serve the guests. All in all it was just a horrible experience with them and I would never recommend...

Sam and his team were absolutely amazing: very professional, efficient and quick to reply and provide support with any questions and concerns that we threw at them two months prior to our event hosted at their Hyde facility. Sycamore Valley Academy had the honor of hosting our middle school dance at this venue. The venue itself was plenty spacious to hold over 100 students, had room for our food tables, drinks, Photo Booth and DJ. The students, teachers and chaperones loved the venue and felt that it was one of the best places to have their end of year dance! We celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday this pasted weekend at the NEWLY remodel and improved Hyde venue.

Charina our events coordinator is an absolute blessing! As she orchestrated a very well planned celebration.

In-addition their Chef Melissa prepared a very tasteful and delicious menu; appetizers and dinner not to mention her delicious spicy salsa.

All of the staff from Sarah to everyone else who assisted were all attentive and accommodating!
