Save Mart — Local services in Visalia

Prices are way too expensive here, I came here just to grab a few things for dinner and their produce and meat section is so poorly managed and disorganized that I grabbed the wrong items multiple times, only realizing when I got to self check out that the item is over twice the price then it was labeled. After running back the first time I was too exhausted the second time to go to the back of the store to grab the right item so I ended up paying more for an item which should have been labeled correctly to begin with. They also only had a singular employee working the registers, and when I needed help at self check out, I waited almost 8 minutes for somebody to just cancel it so I could go grab the right item. Honestly, I don’t think I will be coming to the store ever again, even though it’s the closest grocery store to me because of how bad customer service the employees have, treating you like a chore rather than a paying customer. I’ve had multiple bad experiences at this grocery store from the past 2 years I’ve been living here and I think it’s about time I stop giving them my money after the amount of times I have been disrespected and...

The staff is friendly and helpful. The buyers provide a good range of products including many specialty items of interest to me. They have a good selection of organic products. The produce is fresh. The bakery has bread I like that is baked in the store. The wine and spirits offerings are excellent. I can shop and find all I want or need at a low cost and I can choose more expensive options if I want. The staff and the product offerings are A+.

I not give the store five stars over all because the store is in need of refurbishment. The store is clean but the Counters, flooring, lighting and so on are tired and worn. Thus same is true for the parking lots. The lighting is old and poor. The landscaping is spotty or dead. The paving is broken, pot-holed and generally in poor shape. Everything outside the store is dirty and tired. Nothing inviting. It is disappointing that the store is not kept up as well as the three other stores Savemart...

Always find what I need and more. Produce is usually fresh. Recently on the weekly ads I have been really disappointed . They still have good sales but they have been making some if there coupons digital. And unless you have a account set up on their website the only way you can get the discount is with that account. I had one set up and once they started the digital coupons in trying to get to the coupon it froze me out of my account and it am no longer able to use this advantage. When I tried to talk to the new manager she was very rude and offered no assistance. I still shop there occasionally but I have been going to another store now. I am so disappointed in there new management. They still have some of the people that have been there, but they seem to be leaving. I will miss them all . S far as the digital coupons they should be easily available...
