Absolute worst experience we've ever had here. We've been coming to the el rosal on noble for 3 years. Tonight our waitress dropped our food off and never came back, not one time We sat down at 6pm and left at 7pm, in an hour she never refilled drinks, checked on anything, nothing. I finally had to get up and go stand behind her and the bartender at the bar to ask for the check and was ignored while they talked. I walked through the restaurant to look for someone else to speak with. After the man I spoke with went and told her we needed our check and boxes, she finally came over, said "here" and handed us boxes and sat the check down and walked off. We sat for an additional 10 minutes while she walked by our table twice. I had to give the money to someone else and have them cash us out. Needless to say she got ZERO for a tip. With that kind of service and attitude, we're done with el rosal. After Probably 80+ trips to el rosal (2 times a week while my wife was pregnant), that'll...
Read moreFood is really decent, service is fine, lovely ambiance with colorful, Mexican decor. My only complaint is about the margaritas. Taste like they are made with subpar store-bought mix. It's so easy to make a great 'Rita. Lime, orange liquor, tequila Blanco, and maybe a little squeeze of agave. VOILA! Don't even need to squeeze limes fresh, although fresh is better. Bottled lime juice is an okay sub to save time and effort. Please ditch the cheap mix with the corn syrup and artificial flavors and dye, and I'll give even a better review. We like El Rosal, but I love, love, love a great margarita with my Mexican food. If it's a good margarita I'm after, I go elsewhere for that. At El Rosal, I recommend you stay away from their mixed drinks, and order a Modelo or a shot of premium tequila. Their shrimp app is the bomb, though. I sometimes order that by itself as...
Read morecame here once for breakfast with hubby kids and my father , breakfast was good but some of the âMexicanâ is not authentic or scratch ( lots of canned sauce bases ) service was good and atmosphere is cute . came back again and hubby ordered caldo de pollo and it was like canned broths . it smelled like old people canned chicken soup . no flavor not authentic. i think if you order safe foods like tacos or burrito or the plate called âChino â and sit in the bar area . now the beer and drinks in the bar area are so cheap and affordable it would be worth a night out with tacos and drinks but if you are latino you wonât be impressed with the food đ definitely have non latino / Mexican customers who know no better of authenticity.
cheap drinks , cute atmosphere, decent food . my hubby said we will only be back...
