On 5/1/23, I woke up to my phone service shut off. I keep getting text and emails to switch from Sprint to T-Mobile but ignored most of them. Until I decided to call and they sent me a new phone and case. I was even told to visit the Voorhees T-mobile store and speak to Matthew to switch phones. Anyways I still didn't think it was a big deal until my service was off today. I drove to Voorhees Town Center just to see T-Mobile had moved. So I drove over to Eagles Plaza and found the store. I went in and was grilled about how and where did I get my new phone as if I stole it. He asked for my number and claimed he can't help me because I'm a Sprint customer. I said the point of me being here is to switch to T-Mobile service. He claimed there was nothing he could do. I said I remember specifically the rep telling me to ask for Matthew when I make an appointment. He said my name is Matthew and still act like he couldn't assist. All he said was to call customer care. So I went to my car and tried to dial the 611 number but couldn't. I went back into the store and asked for help with calling. Another guy gave me an 1-800 number on paper. As if I could call on my phone. I walked out frustrated. I drove all the way to T-Mobile in Berlin. The store had friendly representatives. I had three of the four employees assisting me. They even called customer service and got my phone restored. I was so impressed and happy I offered to buy all four of them lunch. I never even mentioned to them how I was treated at Voorhees. It seems this location didn't feel like doing anything extra today. So excuses was made so I...
Read moreI normally do not part reviews but I feel it is my dirty to describe my experience so to caution others.
The sales rep, Justin A, lied to me by making false promises and exaggerated the capabilities of T mobile and baiting me to switch from another carrier.
After I realized from my bills that things weren't what he promised, I went into the store to address the problem. Keep in mind, I'm based on New York and had to travel to Jersey. He "assured" me that he'll take care of it, and I assumed he would be a man of his word. I was wrong. Weeks go by and there's nothing from him. I began to phone in regularly to all for updates, and he would always provide me with lip service just to get me off the phone. After all, he already made his commission and has no further need to assist.
This debacle actually ended up getting dragged for months. I have attempted to contact customer service but they all lead back to having the rep at the store to make the final decision. Justin would not take responsibility for fraudulently selling me their plan nor take accountability for it.
I eventually escalated up to the store manager, Steve, who also refused to accept responsibility and essentially told me that there was nothing he can do.
I have been lied to and ripped off by these people who only care about the sale they're making and nothing else after that. They hurt the brand image of T mobile and hopefully a senior manager or supervisor will re train them to prevent this from...
Read moreI was mislead 3 times. First I was told that I had to open up another line to switch my lines to a business account, then I was told that wasn't true by another mobile store. Came back , had to pay a restocking fee then get the same phone over again. switched the lines to business account told me i was paying 150 with $10 discount because i switched over to a business line. told me i had a free 4th line. got the phone activated line and all then was told "oops i realized it'll be $30 extra for the line it won't be free" then they wanted me to pay ANOTHER restocking fee BECAUSE SHE "ACCIDENTALLY" LOOKED AT ANOTHER ACCOUNT.. even though i have been at that place from 11-2 pm . took 30 min. to waive the restocking fee and get the sim activation $ back. Then i finally talk to the business mobile customer service and I'm not going to be paying $140 but $196 for 3 lines?! and i can't go back to a consumer account so i have to return ALL phones for ALL 3 lines, and switch back to a consumer account. This store does not care in helping you save money, all they care about is a sale. Along with the lame bored dry mall, this store has nothing else to do but give misinformation and try to trick and to sell you into something. I have reported this store as well. If you must, AVOID...
