My son and I were greeted when we entered. My son found a pair of shoes that he liked. I found another employee and told her that I would like for my son to try on a particular shoe. At first, she appeared like I was inconveniencing her as she did not speak to me. She was looking on a phone and I finally figured out that she was looking up the shoe size. The employee went back to the storeroom and brought me the shoes. She only gave me 1 shoe and walked with the other shoe back to the cash register. I wanted my son to try on both shoes so I went to the cash register and asked for the other shoe. She said, "Do you have the other shoe?" I told her that I wanted my son to try on both shoes. The employee handed me the shoe and proceeded to walk with me while I gave my son the shoe. This employee just stood there. She did not offer to help. She was just watching us as if I was going to run off with the shoes. I was really offended and almost confronted her but I did not want to embarrass my son and I had also had a bad day and did not want to say something really out of line. I told the employee that I wanted to purchase the shoes. I handed the employee the shoes and we walked to the cash register. After she ran my card and it was approved, she was kinder to me. I have purchased shoes at Hibbett's before and never had this experience. Why was I "watched" by this employee? Did I give any impression that I was going to steal? Is this a Hibbett policy to "watch" the customer if they want to try on both shoes? I did give 1 star because my son was happy with the shoes and this employee was kind at the end of the transaction. Hibbett... I don't steal. I have never stolen from anyone. I pay cash for everything. I know when I have money and when I don't have money. I am responsible. Why was I treated poorly? Do you do this to everyone? Gosh, what if I was an oppressed individual? How would you have treated me? I bet, worse. I am unsure if I will purchase shoes at Hibbett's again. I hope that Hibbett's corporate reads this. There were very few people in the store. I bet you need the sales. If you treat customers the way that I was treated, you will no longer...
Read moreThis is the worst store ever. I waited in line 2 hours and employees kept saying they had my size then they friends show up and soon as 12 hits the dude tells me they don’t have my size that the raffle holder was on his way. It clearly states all raffle winners are supposed to pick up there size by 12 pm and if not it’s automatically first come first serve. Which is why I waited two hours. But as soon as one of there friends handed them 300 dollars they had his size and he didn’t win a raffle and he didn’t have to stand in line like everyone else. These people are straight liars. They were holding shoes for there friends. There customer service is horrible I’d highly suggest nobody...
Read moreWe went to the store and purchased shoes for my daughter. One pair was not in stock so they ordered it for me there. When I received the shoe it was a completely different size/shoe. I took it to the store to return and try again. An employee who said he was the Manager "Giggles" said he couldn't do anything and that I would have to contact customer service. He was 0 help. Almost an hour into my hold with customer service a man named Collin (The actual Store Manager) came in to the store. He made a few calls and did my return. So if you go in, speak with Collin. He actually helped. Giggles didn't want to deal...
