Very unsanitary and terrible service!
This was here at the WACO location on Waco DR.
When my mother and I first got there, for a Saturday meal we have to wait on the hostess to clean the table for us. It took her a while to clean the table when she lead us to the table we noticed there was still food it's like crab shreds and pieces of food on it and the seat while the table still very wet . We requested a paper towel to try to dry it and she just lightly wiped it down and left.
Then the waitress came, her name was RHONDA J. At first she seemed okay we were able to put in our order and such but she came back with our drinks and a plate of only three tiny cheddar cheese biscuits she seems like she was in a rush to attend to the other table next door because for almost 40 minutes she never came to our table to check on us or refill our drinks or tell us that our food's going to take a while. it felt like she was avoided our table, my mother and I finished our drinks long before but before we could even call her over she slammed a glass of Coke that was my drink on the table and kept walking to attend to the table next who got their drinks, a plate of bigger size of 3 cheddar cheese biscuits and salad and she was quite chatty with them. No eye contact with us or "how you doing?"
During those 40 minutes I was ready to leave because this was very upsetting service. my mother who finished her Sprite long before I did never got a refill until she came with our food when we got our food I ordered it was very small portion. I had the steak with fries and rice and I noticed the rice was very crunchy like it came from the edges of the tray the fries were lukewarm in the steak tasted a little burnt on the bottom with hardly any seasoning. Well my mother ordered the chicken the tasted like it was grounded up and paste back together.
When the waitress came and asked how our meal was? I asked could I have a different side because the rice was crunchy I ordered the broccoli in a little while later she came back with the broccoli but she put it down very oddly on the table she leaned over with her face almost in it and I saw a drop of something fall in the middle of it at first I thought it was sweat from her wig but I could definitely tell it came from her nose. SNOT fell in the middle of my broccoli that's already look like it was semi burnt. I has enough so I asked for the check and of course that took a while for her to bring the check, while my mother was in the restroom I saw her in the back kitchen area moving around clapping her hands and talking to somebody and then disappearing again for a while I was waiting for that check to a point that another waitress asked me how I was doing and I told her I need the check, the other waitress went to fetch her.
Then she finally came back with the check and told me: "Am I going to pay now because her boss is calling her over." I told her it's okay I'll pay up front and she snapped at me saying "No, you pay me" with a tone like she was telling a child sonething obvious. I noticed the host overheard that and a few other customers around us but it seems waitress didn't care so I just paid the bill, when she received my card she snatched up the two glasses together with her finger slamming them together making a very loud noise and stomped off.
When she finally came back with my card and I made sure to leave zero tip and left.
I felt humiliated and my food was terrible.

ย ย ย Read moreHavenโt been to Red Lobster in a year. Had a poor experience all around and decided to return today to give it another shot. The hostess was friendly and the experience started off great. We put in an appetizer and decided to do the 3 course meal. My entree consisted of coconut shrimp. I had to remind Anita, our server, the coconut shrimp came with a sauce. It came with 8 shrimp. I literally finished my 2nd out of 8 shrimp when she brought my dessert. I was forgiving of that assuming she had done some timing option when putting in the order. It wasnโt until she brought me a to go drink on my 3rd shrimp that I started to wonder if she was trying to rush us out. I again was forgiving, thinking her shift might be ending. When I saw her taking her time with her other table and the hostess clarifying what section she had that evening... it became apparent that she was rushing us. I was half way done with my meal before she asked if I wanted a to go box. Let me say, I was enjoying my day off with my husband and taking an opportunity to catch him up on my week instead of shoveling food into my mouth. It was still evident that I was working on my plate. I went there to enjoy myself and take a moment out of my hectic schedule. I asked her if it was ok if I continued to eat instead of accepting the boxes and she began to say, โUsually when people...โ and I interrupted her. It felt as though she was insinuating that I didnโt go out to eat. Regardless of what the average table does, I as a customer dictate the pace of my dining experience. She then later attempted to joke with me when she realized I was not happy. By that time, my experience was diminished. I did see the manager and he asked how everything was; this was before I realized I wasnโt wanted any more. I heard an employee stating how slow it was this morning/ afternoon. Having heard that, itโs not about money or getting anything for free. If you want people to come back to your establishment please consider training staff on patrons setting their own pace for meals as well as opening communication from a manager to a table. Itโs bare minimum for the manager to ask how everything is. Consider introducing yourself with your name and title, asking a question, and then inviting the table to communicate with you if needed. The best part of the experience was the food so Iโm thankful for that. If I wanted just the food Iโd go through a drive through. At a sit down restaurant Iโm paying for the entire...
ย ย ย Read moreHostess was not friendly and mumbled things to her self along with eye rolling the entire time we were waiting to be seated. Once seated we were promptly greeted by our waitress, but after ordering our drinks it took about 15-20 minutes to receive our drinks. Waitress didn't offer a straw and didn't have them available. I asked for one and she never brought it. I took it upon myself to go to the bar to get one where she met me before getting to the bar. I asked her about the straw and she advised me that the managers keep them in the back and would have to get with manager before I could receive one. I suppose they are keeping inventory on straws now. The biscuits were burnt and the shrimp calamari looked like it was setting in water. Didn't even look like butter was present. Waitress was not very attentive. Looking at my bill I noticed there was a $1.49 charge for a "loaded potato" I asked the waitress what came on the potato and she never mentioned that having a loaded potato would be an extra charge. Had I known that I would have gotten a regular potato due the fact I didn't even eat but maybe 3 bites. When waiting for our seats we asked if we could sit at the bar and the hostess advised me that we could not due to the fact the bartender wouldn't be able to handle more customers. There was only 7 people there. I noticed a couple sitting at the bar also waiting to be seated. The husband was standing the entire time. I thought it was rude that a staff member wouldn't offer him a chair. They had been there a while bc the wife came up to the hostess and finally said enough is enough and they were seated. There were other issues, but I figured this review is long enough. Very...
