I did business with this company a few years ago so apologies for not recalling all of the details. I brought a phone in for a screen repair, was told it would be fixed by a certain date because I was traveling out of the country on important business and needed the phone on my travel. The date came and went, phone was not ready. No apologies & no discounts were offered for their screw up. They ended up having to send it off to get it fixed elsewhere. Ended up having to get a family member to get the phone about a week later and mail it to me at my cost. These guys wouldn't even cover the shipping. Also turned out the bill was much higher than estimated, but I guess since I wasn't there to pick up the phone they thought they could pull a fast one and I couldn't get my phone back if I didn't pay. They definitely did not have a customer first attitude. More like a "sucks to be in your attitude." I would NOT do business with them or recommend them. Total nightmare. Ended up having to get my phone fixed overseas about a year later when their poor quality work broke again. Somehow the overseas company got it fixed in 24 hours for a quarter of the cost and I still have the phone today. Read moreWe took our ps4 to wacotechs on August 18th for over heating. They said they took it apart cleaned the fan, replaced the thermal glue and replaced the hard drive. Charged us $200 and we picked it up August 26th. On the evening of August 27th the ps4 overheated again. So we texted them the following day (August 28th) telling them the ps4 was still over heating. They replied with replacing the fan being the only thing left to try. We asked for a refund on the hard drive since that obviously wasn't the problem. And they never replied. Thankfully we documented everything to make reporting them easier. So we called another ps4 repair company and they took it in and informed us the ps4 had NEVER been taken apart. The fan was full of dust and there was no new thermal glue. They did everything wacotechs claimed to have done and then some (they only charged us $75 for all this) and our ps4 has been running beautifully ever since. They also agreed to show any proof needed from their end when we report wacotechs to the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission. Read moreGave Hector my Steam Deck for repairs after I spilled a little coffee on it on Feb 8, after he said it’d take two to three weeks. After repeated texts and calls, I didn’t get my device back until April 10, when two cops helped retrieve it from his home. It was UNTOUCHED and unrepaired!!! There was a screw I couldn’t get out myself, which is why I chose to take it in for repairs for the first place, and said screw was still there. He just let the coffee sit for over two months. Hector hadn’t even responded to my notice of legal action and reporting him if I didn’t have my device back—repaired or not—on April 8. Hector claimed to have been sick or out of town, always having a reason or excuse to not respond and not repair my device. If you are so sick that you cannot do your job, then at least communicate that and return your clients’ property.
