You simply cannot beat the prices. They don't have a selection as big as other stores, but they have at least one of everything you need, including some really nice "Aldi Finds" -- things like patio furniture or running shoes or snow shovels or space heaters. And once those Aldi Finds leave the shelves, you'll never see them again! But I was able to furnish my dorm for a crazy low price with their Aldi Finds rugs, blankets, lamps, etc.
They have the lowest prices of anywhere because of all the money saving techniques that they use as a business. They only hire full-time employees, and they don't have any employees bringing in carts so they use the quarter incentive instead, they put products on shelves in their original boxes and those are what you use to carry them out instead of plastic bags, they only carry one or two brands of every item, and they don't have high ceilings and bright lights that run up their utility bill.
Their produce section is spectacular. They've got organic and normal, and they have other healthy snacks filling the rest of the store, with a few sweet items, too.
Every single price tag is pleasing when you shop there, and they'll have almost everything you need. I think if more people were aware of this gem of a store, the others would go out of business...
Read moreThe fruit and the vegetables were rotten and looked absolutely awful. There were carts filled with stick in several aisles making it difficult to get through. A lot of the products were low or empty. There was not a very good selection in the freezer section. This was my first time at this location so I’m hopeful the store will not always be like this. I did go on a Saturday morning and it was extremely busy in the store and in the parking lot. The staff was neither friendly nor rude, they just didn’t say anything when checking out. There were several expired items on the shelves so I had to pay really good attention to the dates on each product. The parking lot was very very very busy. The store itself is easy to find and labeled correctly on Google maps. I like how this store is close to several other places to shop and plenty of food options in the area, as well as gas stations. I plan on coming back possibly during the week to give this store another chance. I love the prices and quality of the food at Aldi so I’m really hoping this was just a bad day for the store and things are not always like this. I will give an updated review...
Read moreGreat economical place to keep your fridge stocked for $80. People need to stop expecting a concierge service and fully interactive smiling cashiers (who also restock and actually do work in the store) when their job is to scan as fast as humanly possible and keep customer efficiency at top priority. I always put my items bar code down to make their job easier, exchange a few friendly quick words to make them smile or laugh, and have my debit card out ready to pay. That's it. It's a discount grocery store. Not some locally sourced market filled with 10-minute-per-item sales interactions and "conflict free" food stories about how their artisan item is "ethically sourced" or "shade grown fescue grass fed"... These types of markets are a cool experience to go to and shake up mundane shopping a few times a year... but after working 10-12 hours I just want milk, bread, butter, eggs and some fruit for $20 and dont want to talk about it. Thank you...
