Not a good stay. I called weeks before to book, told them it was for my daughters bday and we'd have 6kids and 1adult and a couple others that wouldn't be staying the night, lady on the phone said that was fine. So we checked in, went to the pool and oh boy it wasn't fine. Next thing I know the assistant mgr went on a power trip, saying I need to pay another 250$ for people to swim and threatened to kick us out of the hotel when I got pissed at his inability to listen, I was asked 7 times the same question for which I gave the same answer, I was respectful until he went on his lil power trip. $50 per person to swim in a hotel pool on top of paying almost $200 for the room is pure greed and beyond repulsive. Shame on you for being just like all the disgusting greedy ego driven pos people out there. I will not be coming back. We have done the bday swim parties at this location for years. If I could give negative stars I would. Room was ok, pull out bed looked like it's been peed on, sheets had stains, you'd think they'd upgrade their rooms charging what they charge, but I guess not. Side note, he tried to kick out another lady from the hotel because he couldn't handle the situation, she didn't do anything but ask him to speak to another guest who was getting in kids faces yelling.
If you want a nicer drama fee stay try the hotel next door.
Response to owner: I hope when you say you are looking into it, that it really means you are going to do something about it and not just sweep your bad customer service and greed under the rug... Because there is a huge difference between the two. To charge $50 a person to swim after paying for the queen suite is that your greed? or just bad employees? Same goes for not investing in updates in your property, so some self reflection maybe helpful as well. You guys really dropped the ball.
Update: the owner did nothing, noone reached out to me even. Not one word other than the response to this post. Don't waste your money on this motel, bad service, bad management and even worse owners. Just wanted to make sure everyone was aware they...
Read moreAs we approached our wedding day on Saturday, August 16th. The week prior to arrival we contacted the hotel only to be told the previous Sales Manager never booked our hotel room. We had reserved a block of rooms for family and friends which allowed all of them to stay there for a relatively decent rate. A worker advised us “I’m not surprised you had issues with confirming booking”. We then contacted the new Sales Manager was confused as to why the room was never booked. She then advised us it was taken care of. Upon arrival to the hotel only 8/15. I was greeted with a $400+ balance owed, mind you I’ve already paid $400 for the hospitality suite that was attached to the room we originally booked. The manager on duty did not seem to care or try and make things right due to the ball being dropped by multiple people due to their retention of sales managers. We were advised by the current sales manager she had made the booking complete, leaving us to believe as originally discussed that the hospitality suite and room we booked were paid for and complete. We brought so much business to their hotel and they fought tooth and nail to try and prove that they were right. Terrible hospitality.
Now for room quality, the jacuzzi suite was clean and well taken care of. The hospitality suite initially looked clean however as my 2 year old was walking around in there, he found a partially smoked black and mild (tobacco) on the floor. There were also skittles or m&ms under the end table of the couch in the hospitality suite. The air was not on in the room either which took a while to cool the large room down. Didn’t even mention this to staff due to the terrible hospitality already having received.
The breakfast was very good and the location is excellent for anything you may need. Very disappointed in the way we were treated to start off our wedding weekend! Wish the staffing cared more about their guests bringing in a lot...
Read moreI have stayed at this hotel over 5 times now and never an issue. Until now.
The pool was so cold. It was like lake Erie in January cold. The room is the room I always clean things before I stay. The pillows absolutely suck. The mini fridge needed ice to make it cold inside. This location will not use choice rewards either. I like the location with the Galaxy being next door. Guess I will try the other hotel or another town all together. Cash is king and if we don't do something about places not taking cash it will be bad for all of us. After paying 250 bucks I should have stayed at a Hilton. Thanks for the lack of hospitality.
Edit. The front desk cant do anything. The management staff isnt available. They don't actually call you. I stayed in 318. I cleaned their hot tub for them. The room wasn't clean. Wax or gum is stuck to the floor. Bobby pins everywhere. The hair dryer bag had a lot of dust and who knows what on it. Pillows are flat and a huge brown stain was on one of them. The one AC unit by the bed sounds like it is going to explode. The breakfast was gross. The coffee tasted like diesel fuel. The gravy was so thick it could have been used to patch 224. The waffles were not good. We ended up going and getting a good breakfast. This resulted in checking out earlier than expected. Filling the hot tub took what felt like forever. I filled it twice because we cleaned it before using it. It has a slimy film on it. I talked to the desk at check out. Even left a voicemail to the manager. Its now 3 days later and nothing but a cheap response to this review. Going to have to escalate this. Its unfortunate a hotel with an expensive room can't take care of it's customers. The desk person said its do for a remodel. I hope they remodel the staff as well. The lack of customer service is sad. I don't recommend this...
