Trust me folks, you owe it to yourself to stop in and visit Vianna Jewelers! I'm so used to shopping at the big box stores where I walk in and service seems to be a forgotten skill. Most corporate jewelry stores have pushy teenagers who don't really know the industry and make it seem like they want you to hurry up and find what you want so they can go on to the next customer. That was absolutely not the case during my visit today at Vianna Jewelers!

Vicky and Janet took the time to greet me and show me around their store pointing out the individual custom pieces they carry that I haven't seen in big box stores where everything seems to look the same. Their choices were outstanding, quality is second to none, and I love the fact that Vicky is not only the owner, but the custom jeweler on site. All work is done there and not farmed out to some second rate jeweler. That's important to me because when I have family heirlooms that are precious to me, I like knowing they stay in the building and I like talking personally to the person handling my jewelry.

Vicky shared with me that her entire family are in the jewelry industry and this is all she's ever done... I can tell as it shows in her pride discussing her customization offerings. Having priced several pieces in the larger stores, I was surprised to find Vicky's selection not only comparable price-wise, but in some cases way below big box stores... Especially on lab grown diamonds which is what I was looking for today. I wanted to take the time and write out this detailed review because if you're like me, you need a jewelry store you can trust and I trust this team and highly recommend you stop in and check them out. My husband called to ask if they were GIA certified and a gentleman advised that they were. He also asked if we could get the certification in writing for two pieces of jewelry and was told yes they could and it could be done same day and receive the certification within an hour or two which did not sound right. My husband asked if they had to be shipped off because that’s what we researched and the guy said oh no we do all of that in house. We drove 45 minutes to bring the pieces in and the lady at the front desk was so nice and wrote up the paperwork and said we would get a call within the hour from the other lady that was certified. We went to lunch while waiting and received a call from the lady that is GIA certified there but she said that she could not provide us with the certification report that it could only be done by shipping to CA or NY and that we would have to pay $250 for one and $200 for the other. I asked what we were charged $260 for? She said we weren’t I advised that I had a receipts. She asked if we wanted an offer for them to purchase the items and I said yes that would be fine. When we got back from lunch we were offered $1K for both pieces when I was offered $8K for one at another store. Wasn’t going to sell the ring just wanted to know what there offer would compare to the another store. That’s a huge difference in price. So moral is if you have someone answering the phone make sure they are trained if they do not know the answer find out before informing potential customers because we will not be back. 7 different vendors within that location. I ordered a beautiful pearl necklace from here to go with my wedding dress. It arrived quickly within a week, was just as beautiful as described, and was the length I wanted it. The original woman (not the owner) who helped me was very kind and helped me figure out what I wanted. The next day I came back, she wasn't there, but the store owner and an assistant were there. The store owner was very rude. When I first walked in, she ordered her assistant to pull out a book for me and raised her voice at her because she flipped to the wrong page initially. She continued to be short with her the entire time I was there. I also had changed my mind on which pearl I wanted and she said something like "good choice, that one looks wayyy better than the other one". The new one cost 3x more than the last one but I'm suure that had nothing to do with it. My mother who accompanied me the second time decided to impulsively buy a pair of expensive earrings (more than the necklace for my wedding) with my father's credit card. I tried to convince her not to, especially because all sales are final, but she kept getting egged on by the store owner. I called my father to alert him and the store owner said the exact words "nobody likes a snitch". I can't remember everything else that was said, but it was extremely infuriating and because of that I will not be shopping here again.
