Liquorland Waldwick — Local services in Waldwick

I always wonder why I try to change a team that is winning. I have my own choices of liquor store that I go to. However, last Friday I said "oh let me try the new place in Waldwick". I went inside. First the layout of the store is terrible, with zero creativity and elegance. It feels more like a warehouse whine store. Nevertheless my 1 zero star goes to the attitude of the manager/owner. He was unfriendly, spoke down to me (I guess because I am a woman?). He disliked that I was holding bottles to look at it.

Well, A) there was no decent visible description near the bottles. You know, most places have nice tags with the description B) The bottles are laying down. C) I can pay if I break something. I bought a bottle of wine and run out of there. I hate that I didn't stop myself and went somewhere else. Will...

I have purchased liquor from this place in the past. It's not terrible but not great, they have an OK selection but it's nothing special. The reason this is getting a 1 star is because I had liquor delivered through the grizly app and after 1 hour of not hearing from them I gave the store a call just for then to tell me they had no delivery person working that night so they couldn't complete my order... thanks so much for giving me a heads up. I’ve been a customer since their old location and the new store is a big upgrade. It’s beautifully done, clean, well organized, and has a much bigger and wider selection of wine, spirits, and beers. Shopping here is always a great experience. The staff usually gives you space to browse but if you need help they’ll actually walk you over to find what you’re looking for. The selection and pricing are both excellent. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quality...
