In the matter of fact I don't like Chinese food, My coworker advised me to try Red Bowl in Waldwick branch and he was absolutely correct, I tried Cashu Checken with Wonton soup and fried rice and it one of the best meals I've ever have in my life, Now every week I have to pick up the phone and order my Chinese meal ( only $10 ask for special meals), And to be honest I've tried 2 or 3 other Chinese restaurants in New Jersey but it was not as good as Red Bowl restaurant in Waldwick, The service is great and the quality is very good but I prefer to take away and enjoy it at my lunch break or at home. Parking lots are available, Recommended, don't forget to like and follow my account to discover new outlets, restaurants, and entertainment places in New Jersey and USA with me.

I ordered the Sashimi/Sushi entre for one with brown rice thinking that the Spicy Tuna roll would be your standard roll. I was disappointed to see that tempura was mixed in (which isn't typical) and as a celiac who made a note for the restaurant: " don't use soy sauce - allergic to gluten," I was additionally confused to why there was purple and not brown rice for my sushi. Sauces were used to help color the rice. The sashimi was good although all was room temperature. The presentation was nice and perhaps the food is better with dine-in service. 100% not allergy friendly if you're a celiac or sensitive as ingredients aren't listed and their rolls deviate from the norm.

Overall Food was awesome. Ordered hot and sour soup, vegetarian steamed dumplings, Thai spicy fried rice, and lo mein. Both the appetizer and soup were excellent. The rice wasn't very spicy, but the lo mein is recommended for the main course. Mango Stick rice is also recommended for desert.

This place is not good compared to all the competition you can chose from. The food is bland, customer service is horrible and they can’t handle it when busy in the kitchen. I had ordered food and they sent me a Pad Thai with no sauce or flavoring. Picture dry pasta (not even traditional pad Thai noodles) chicken and peanuts in the corner. Zero sauce or flavor. I called the next day to tell them and they yelled at me why I called a day after. I didn’t realize there was a 2 hour only window for complaints. I didn’t ask for anything in return I merely wanted them to know they’re quality was bad. It’s weird a business in a competitive area would discredit a complaint by saying it took you the next day to complain. It should be noted they were closed by the time I actually opened the dish last night so it was pointless to call them. Also it should be noted the dish wasn’t touched and I offered to give it back to them so they can QC look at what was wrong with it. Again I wanted nothing in return. But the rudeness, blandness of the food and difficulty communicating just makes going here a waste when compared to all the other options in the area. My wife also thought they’re food tasted like mall food. I can’t stress how aggressive and rude they were when I was beyond nice.

Try some of the other options around for more authentic food with people who care about what their...

We don’t get to go out to dinner much any more cause of the Babies so we order take out. We figured we’d try red bowl. Well it’s gotten good reviews cause it’s new but if they continue like this it won’t be open long. Not a good 1st experience at all. I’ll stick to the good old Chinese food. Called and asked for a side of vegitible fried rice with our order they called back twice 1 they didn’t understand why I wanted it and 2nd time to tell me it was an additional $5. I also ordered there chefs special seafood dish in chefs sauce for $18 I got a 1/4 tail of rock lobster and a whole lot of broccoli and mushrooms NO scallops, shrimp, fish or squid as menu specified. I have no problem spending $ on great food. But don’t be cheap in your service. I got the same dish in Wyckoff spent the same amount of $ and I ate the dinner got full and ate the rest for lunch. Fried dumplings are not fried they are mushy. Seaseme chicken was ok but the rice tasted like it was fried in rubber. And god forbid there was any fortune cookies for an after dinner treat. You can buy a bag of 500 pcs. In china town for $5. I’ll stick to the place in Wyckoff nj. Not to mention I went to pick it up with my babies and they carried our order to the car for me. I gave the...

We are Chinese food lovers but extremely difficult to please. In our quest to find a new local Chinese restaurant, we ordered from Red Bowl our 3rd try & JACKPOT.

FOOD: Prepared the way the classic Chinese dish is prepared. Chicken with Garlic Sauce is made exactly as it should be. All the classic tastes are all there, no skimping on chicken & everything is fresh. Spare ribs (both boneless & with bone) cooked perfectly & super tasty. Lo Mein, Wonton Soup, Wings, etc. - so far, we can say each dish will be ordered again.

CONSISTENT. I order the same dish every time & it NEVER varies, Red Bowl cooks consistently.

STAFF: 5 stars all the way. I recently ordered by phone for delivery. I mistakenly ordered my own dish wrong. When it arrived I called the restaurant & told them I messed up. NOT ONLY did they send it back out correctly but they didn't charge me & it was MY error not...
