My cousin and I popped by there this morning because I needed some fencing wire and I had also told her that they had a lot of neat gift ideas to shop. We're getting pretty close to Christmas and we were planning on spending some money in there. We were in the foyer before we even got into the building and a girl that worked there came out and did not greet us said absolutely nothing except that "we have a bag rule and you are not going to be able to come in here with that bag." She didn't greet us, she treated us like criminals and I thought she was pretty snotty. And that's not the first time that I have felt the employees were less than welcoming and less than friendly. Anyway, there was a better way to handle letting us know that there was a bad rule. She made it very clear that we were not welcome there and I'm not sure who she thinks is paying the bills... So... my cousin and I left immediately and went down the road to Tractor Supply just outside of Manhattan and we were greeted by an employee before we even walked in the door and we were then greeted by two more employees as we walked in the door and they were very helpful and we spent a decent amount of money in there. I will not go to Waters true value in Wamego again. I don't have a problem paying for their overpriced merchandise, I like to give back to the community, but there's no need to be treated like that.
