Dollar General — Local services in Wamego

Having a Dollar General Store in Wamego, Kansas an absolute must! I really feel for the employees who work there. Corporate needs to send out a survey about the Wamego store! There is an empty lot next to the building! I see no reason why corporate cannot make the Wamego store bigger. It is definitely a monumental need for this community! The isles are not wide enough, not enough room for supplies to be shelved, does not look neat and is very hard to see items on shelves! Way to much clutter! Hard to see things! Some shelving is way to close to the floor! Just today went there and had to bend and squat down to reach an item that was clear to the back of shelving! Cannot see what products are on the shelves when clear down on the floor! Not an enjoyable experience when shopping there! I think the Wamego store makes plenty of money and is always busy with customers. I have been in newer stores and they are so nice and have a very pleasant atmosphere. Plenty of room in the isles, products on shelves have room for items displayed, everything looks nice! A very enjoyable shopping experience in newer stores! If the two regulars are working, expect zero to bare minimal service. No one is ever up front and I’ve seen elderly customers standing and waiting for 5-10 minutes for a cashier pretty much every time I’m there. while most of the staff is pleasant, the store itself is in disarray. Items in the aisles, and racks blocking items on shelves. Its probably one of the dirtiest stores I've been in around here. While I was there yesterday there were picture frames all over the ground and I almost stepped on them because they were blocking the path.
