Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Wamego

My husband and I were recently on our way through Kansas. Stopped in Wamego and went to the OZ museum. Time for lunch so we headed to Pizza Hut. We had the buffet. Our waitress was Helen Hawk or Hawker. She was the most wonderful lady. She was funny, interesting, helpful, on the spot waitress, and all around great person. We told her we were from Indianapolis and she was thrilled and ask a lot of questions all while taking care of our table and many other tables with drinks, straws, napkins, cleaning tables and kind words. We just loved her and she told us if we were ever in the area again to come back to see her and eat at the Hut. We told her about our vacation and where we were headed and she was seemed so interested. We just loved her and wanted the people at your store to know it. She said she had been there 20 years? and was 85 years old. Heck we are in our 50's and she gets around better than us. So thanks for having such a wonderful lady working at your store. I ordered several items in December 2022 and when I opened up the boxes some of the items were missing. I called the store and told them and they said it would be a long time before they could get the items to me and asked if I wanted store credit on my next order instead. I said I'd take the store credit. Last month I tried to redeem my points (I had over 300 points from earlier purchases as well) and tried to order online but kept getting errors. The site would tell me I had points in my cart but wouldn't let me order anything. I called the store and they said I couldn't use my rewards points to order over the phone I had to use the online ordering service. They suggested I call customer service, which I did, The man could barely speak English. He couldn't help me either. He said wait a day and it should reset. So today I tried to order again and the same thing happened. My points expire in June 2023. I'm not happy with Pizza Hut at all and I will never eat at that restaurant...

Walked in at 9:50 pm to order carry out. The store advertises that it closes at 10 pm. A very pleasant employee asked me if I would dine in or carry out. I said I would carry out and was looking at the menu to place my order. The manager on duty then walked by and rudely stated that the store would close in 8 minutes. Her tone seemed to say that she did not appreciate me coming in to place an order so near to closing time. So, I left without placing an order. Don’t want to inconvenience the manager who has a job because of customers. Went next door and spent my money on a Digiornos pizza at Dollar General. DG is open until 10. The employees there were friendly and seemed to appreciate my shopping at their place...
