Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Wamego

Last time we get anything here. Just a string of issues from previous visits. Today we waited for several minutes after hitting the Red Button before anyone even took our order. People pulled into the stall next to us and were answered before we were.

While waiting, we noticed an employee come out of a shack in the back and had been smoking which is whatever. But no more than a couple of minutes later, the same employee was going back out to the same shack again with another person this time.

We got our ICE CREAM after waiting for 21 minutes. Yup, it took 21 minutes to make 2 blasts, a Root Beer Float, a Vanilla Shake, and a Grape Slush. The blasts ended up being only ice cream that they sprinkled toppings on.

The funny part about this is, they ask you to tip them when you pay. I ended up spending $30 for another classic Sonic letdown. Never again...

None of the screens worked on the menu boards so they had to take the card or cash back in to make the payment. We decided to pay with cash and paid $3.41 over the bill. The runner brought our food out and asked if we want to change. I told him I did and then he asked me if I wanted the 41 cents. I told him to go ahead and keep it, but he should have never asked in the first place. He should have just given The change back and let me decide if I wanted to leave a tip or not, which I wouldn't have done to begin with because that is pretty much their job which is to bring the food out to the car. My wife's bun on her burger was hard and the French fries were overcooked and looked like they had been sitting in the heat lamp for quite a while. Now I know why this place has so few stars...

I went there last night ordered a grilled chicken wrap substituted cheddar bites for tots and didn't get them. Ordered two large oreo cheese cake shakes and there was entirely way to much cheese cake syrup in and it was not mixed well at all 😷 Totally lost my appetite after that. Both employees I had talked too were both rude. The girl over the intercom kept saying is that it? Like i had a huge order. All I ordered were two combos and two large shakes. Then the young man who brought them out to me didn't even read the order to me. And was very impatient about handing me my order... very disappointed the only reason I went to Sonic instead of McDonald's was cause I really wanted some...
