I was so looking forward to shopping there. You're African American assistant Manager or whatever she claims to be was very RUDE to me when I was asking simple and polite questions. SHE started talking to me in a very arrogant way. She also smelled like ALCOHOL. Another white lady nearby said she was RUDE to her too. It's obvious she doesn't like PRETTY WHITE ladies..If this were a white lady being mean to an African American it would be on Channel 10 news. you'd think a manager would be nice and know how to treat people with respect. Being a bargain hunter, I was so happy to find out that Burlington Coat Factory was coming to the RI Mall! Boy! Was I thoroughly disappointed and disgusted when I went there with my teenage daughter last night! There were clothes all over the floor, empty shelves and racks, the place was totally unorganized... and the kicker was the push broom and other items that were under one of the seats in the shoe dept. Difficult for people with disabilitie who need cart to get purchases to car due to mobility problems. Carts 'lock' at doorway and you are unable to take to car. People with canes or walkers should go to Wal-Mart; it is next door and they retrieve their carts. Also, long journey to check out: a lot of walking up and down lanes lined with miscellaneous stuff. Because people don't line up for checkout the cashiers take forever, oblivious to how long people are waiting. Poor...
