Read moreCalling ahead worked out great for us, as we went to dinner about 5:45pm on a Saturday night, and only waited a few minutes, while there was at least a half hour wait for customers that just came in. Our steaks we're delicious, our server was good, but I think he did not have the time to pay attention to small details. At the same time, I would say the manager could have checked with customers to see if everything was ok, and if there was anything we needed. There were a few I'd say minor details that should have been taken care of by our waiter or another staff member... I asked 3 times for a lime for my drink... we hailed down our waiter for additional bread, and to have refills on my water twice, and a soft drink refill once. The only issue with the food was that a member of our party of 4 ordered mushrooms with her steak, they were cold, no one checked to see if everything was ok. We did mention it to the waiter when ordering dessert, as he asked if we were interested in dessert, coffee, or would just like our check, he said he would take the mushrooms off our bill, and we proceeded to order 2 desserts at our table. I realize we were at the restaurant probably at one of their busiest times, but honestly do feel that is the time the manager should be checking on the tables to make sure everyone is receiving outstanding service and will leave the restaurant feeling totally content with their visit... not that there were a few minor details that took away from a most pleasurable evening. Thank you to the kitchen staff, our steaks we're delicious and I think you should receive recognition for the outstanding job you did...
Read moreOutstanding. Good service. Good coffee and outstanding food. My wife and I had steak, (what else!) for lunch. I had Sirloin and my wife had Rib eye. Absolutely 💯% outstanding. Portion size, minimal fat and cooked to perfection. For appetizer we had, their signature, "Tonion". Awesomeness. Light breading, seasoning and cooked just right. For sides we had potatoes. Mine was sweet potato with cinnamon and butter. THAT needs no description. Mashed for my wife was great. All and all, you cannot go wrong. No disappointments.
Well, it never fails. After going to Longhorn twice with outstanding results, today was a joke. We went today, Sunday, for a small Birthday meal for our son. I am disgusted. Our menus were dirty, obvious spills and sticky food or drink on them, My server spilled my coffee on the table 2 times. Not once, but, twice and made no attempt to wipe it up. We actually had to ask her to remove used dishes from the table. She did not get the lemon for my wife's drink. My steak sucked. Too much fat, it was tough with that stringy white membrane through it. However, my wife and sons were great. Go figure. I'm disgusted. We asked to have the table washed down after the meal so we could give gifts. The kid washing the table knocked the coffee cup off the table. He caught it, put it back on the table and after we helped him finish the table, just walked away...no, we will...
