This is the worst service I've ever had. I ordered something in december and after not receiving it i tried contacting the seller by phone, email, and booking an appointment multiple times. NOBODY REPLIED. Then i opened a case through paypal mid february. Annmarie the OWNER replied that i’m a LIAR because i never contacted her (even though i had proof). I asked for an ETA on my item but then she stopped replying so a week later i requested a refund. She said that she would not refund me until i closed the paypal case against her store even though she had already cancelled my order. She also said that refunds were against her terms of service. Paypal customer service explained to me that if i closed the case, she would NOT be refunding me because then i would no longer be able to claim a refund a second time. I told her this and she tried to trick me into closing it again. She insulted me, was very disrespectful and lied many times. She refused to refund me, so I got Paypal involved and they immediately sided with me and said this was UNETHICAL. She then told me that she didn’t want to refund me through PayPal because the customer support agent was lying and “she would be forced to pay fees.” Paypal customer support said they would be flagging her account and monitoring it from now on because this was very clearly FRAUD. A simple search showed that she has done this kind of thing before. I have documented and screenshotted everything. I believed i was safe using Paypal, but she has found a way around their security features. Stay away from this “business”
Edit in response to reply: Again with the lies. You never "explained your phones are forwarded 24/7 when you are not in the office." Be honest for once. Moreover, when you stated that you were being courteous by agreeing to refund me, you cancelled my order and then refused to proceed with the refund. I am not illiterate, I read your terms and regret to inform you that they are not LEGAL. Consumer protection laws exist for a reason. Furthermore, you continue to play this "fees" game. I sent you a message that a customer support agent from PayPal sent me. There are no fees for refunds. You just wanted me to close the case so that you could avoid paying me back. PayPal customer support agreed with me. Your obligation to the manufacturer is not my problem. I purchased an item and then when it didn't arrive I asked you to tell me when it would arrive and instead you ignored me and then cancelled without paying me back. Multiple PayPal customer support agents agreed this was extremely fishy and that this would be monitored. You do not care that I had a horrible experience, in fact it is YOUR fault I had a horrible experience, and you did NOT try to rectify it. You ignored me, insulted me, and then tried to trick me into closing the case so you could keep my money.
You were disgustingly rude in the PayPal conversation. I guess I should have complained publicly and then maybe I would have actually received a response, given the way you jumped to reply to my review.
Have the day you deserve. I will post screenshots of all my interactions with you...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a customer friendly experience, I do not recommend Couture Bridal. I was so excited to be able to make an appointment with them last minute for a Saturday morning (less than 24 hours before the appointment itself). I and another bridesmaid needed to try on dresses for a wedding in June. The other bridesmaid and her young family became ill the night before. So I called the next morning (the day of the appointment) to cancel. It was at that point, and that point only, I was made aware of the cancellation policy. If you cancel within 24 hours or do not show up you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. I was told the owner would be able to make a decision on whether or not I would be refunded, as I explained that I had not been made aware of the cancellation fee when I first made the appointment. When I got in contact with the owner, I explained the situation and was told that the woman I had made the appointment with was claiming she had explained the cancellation fee. I told her that if I had been aware of the fee I would have either not made the appointment in the first place or would be gladly giving them my $50. The owner decided to think it over, she said she would get back to me by Tuesday. On Wednesday, I hadn’t heard from her so I called to see if she was available to talk. She wasn’t working that day, so I left a message with a woman who sounded less than thrilled to be hearing from me again. On Saturday, I finally heard back from the owner. She told me I would not be given back my money because the woman I made the appointment with and another woman working that day (who I never spoke to, she just happened to overhear the conversation) both said I had been explained the cancellation fee- they said the same thing, and apparently did not have time to talk to each other about the incident before the owner questioned them individually (in the weeks’ time this was taking place). I did not appreciate being left to wonder for a week when the owner didn’t have the slightest inclination of giving me back my money. She said during both our conversations that she could keep it as a credit on file for when I came back, despite my explaining after this experience I will not be returning. It is not my fault she does not have a policy set in place for emergencies or illnesses. At the end of the conversation I was told her decision was final and nothing else could be done for me. The only advice she had for me was to try and get my money back through my bank. Apparently, the customer’s word does not count for much at...
Read moreHad several interactions with the "main lady" here -not sure if owner. Overall was disappointed. Phone conversation was always hurried, terse, and ended before I got all my questions out. In person for my "personal experience" she was always running off to answer the phone, the door downstairs, etc. Nice selection of (pricey) dresses, but the experience brought it all down. I'd also prefer to shop somewhere where I'd be allowed to take pictures - one dress I really loved, and debated later if I wanted to get, but had no evidence to see it again and working with anyone anyone there to get another look at the dress seemed to exhausting since the lady always seemed burdened by my presence. I'll take my money elsewhere where my customer status is appreciated. Also, on the way out the door, they provide you with the scam of if you buy 3 things from this list here, we will pay for a trip to any of these locations! Great, but I can buy all these things elsewhere where I'm not treated like a burden for much less and have money left to go on an even nicer trip! Nice selection of dresses, but the experience leaves much...
