Apponaug Village Creamery — Restaurant in Warwick

I’ve visited this location several times now, and one thing I’ve consistently noticed is that all of the employees appear to be white there doesn’t seem to be any diversity among the staff. On my most recent visit, I brought my children with me, and I was very disturbed to overhear one of the workers make a racist remark. Hearing something like that in front of my kids was deeply upsetting and completely unacceptable.

This experience has left me very disappointed. In this day and age, there should be more awareness, accountability, and respect shown both to customers and within the workplace. Unfortunately, because of this, I do not feel comfortable...

A Local Gem! Stopped by this new locally owned ice cream shop for the first time and it did not disappoint! The ice cream was absolutely delicious and plenty of options to choose from. The shop was spotless and had such a welcoming vibe. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes the experience even better with their great service and positive energy. Can’t wait to come back and try more flavors. This is definitely a great addition to the neighborhood and my new favorite spot in town. Highly recommend checking it out and supporting this...

What’s not to love about this brand new Warwick gem? Such an adorable ice cream shop in the heart of Apponaug serving up delicious flavors and toppings at super affordable prices. This is a must visit if you’re in the area, and honestly worth the drive even if you’re not. It was chilly for the patio when we went, but we’ll definitely be back to hang out under the cute market lights and enjoy the RI summer nights.
