I normally don't write reviews of places, especially in the amount of detail I plan on writing this. I would like to state, I've been vegan over 5 years. I'm originally from central Florida and currently live in NYC. I've traveled to over a dozen states in the last two years as well. So I've been around and have gotten meals in many states, and cities as a vegan.
The chicken sandwiches are amazing. I've eaten here everyday during our vacation to RI. The crispy on the chicken sandwich is thick, crispy and full of flavor. They use a corn fry batter, which my southern heart loved. The Buffalo sandwich even when coated in sauce was crisp and damn delicious. Also, I know someone said the Buffalo sauce was very spicy. They must eat bland food because definitely not very spicy, but tastefully so... As buffalo sauce should be.
The milkshakes are delicious too and I don't even like almond milk tasting things and it definitely has the after taste for it. The chocolate shake reminds me of a brownie batter. Again, delicious.
I do think the only thing I've gotten that wasn't amazing was the Mac and cheese. The cheese sauce needed more flavor. The texture and the topping were amazing. Definitely wouldn't recommend it for a nonvegan or for someone who does it dairy cause it won't fool them.
I don't think the prices are crazy at all. Honestly where are you getting a fully loaded burger or sandwich for under $10? Honestly I keep ordering so much because the prices are reasonable. This isn't mass produced junk food. And honestly where are people eating out that doesn't cost $20 a person.
Honestly, yall would make bank in Brooklyn or even Manhattan. I hope this restaurant expands and does well for years to come. It's a blessing for vegans. Definitely going to be traveling to RI more because of this restaurant. Definitely recommend it.
Sorry for the crazy long review, but some of the negative ones were ridiculous. Also I'm literally on my way...
Read more7/4/22 my husband and I stopped by today . He wanted something plant based . He remembered this place and told me about it . Thank Christ they were open . This was our big outing for 4th of July . One ring I love about his place is that is near my hood . We didn’t have to go downtown or Pawtucket . Conveniently located and we needed something like this for the Cranston and Warwick for reals . Upon entering , I was greeted by the nicest plants . I touched them , and let me tell you , they are real. I thought they were fake . The lights hanging from the roof gives it a nice pleasant ambiance with the white color and surrounded by green plants but we sat outside in the patio because the sun was calling us outside . Make sure you hello to the plants . Don’t just ignored them . Our food was done fast and it was super delicious . I got hamburger X my husband the hamburger truffle and sweet potatoes fries . Two coffee with oat milk . Estupendo , un lugar muy bueno para comer saludable . Todo vegano . They offer breakfast .Drive thru and seat in . I love the spacious feeling of the place . The even have plants in the bathroom real ones too . They tables outside what I love about it is that there is enough space between my knee and the edge of the table and you can rest your leg underneath very comfortable . I pay attention to this because i am quite flexible , like I do splits and straddles and I have a certain I like to sit and this table , well I didn’t hit my knee or anything . Totally recommend this place 1...
Read moreI’ve been here many times but felt compelled to rate today due to the great service and food. I asked the woman at the front if she knew if the tofu was GMO or not, and she said it was non-GMO and even told me the brand name of the tofu. Until today I’ve not tried the tofu dishes due to not knowing their GMO status (never asked), as eating non-GMO is important to me and soy is often genetically modified. Well, I tried the power lunch bowl which has glazed tofu - delicious! I love having lighter options among some of the fried or denser options on the menu. The bowl will be my go-to now.
I also grabbed the gluten-free strawberry shortcake chia pudding and it was SO good that I went to the drive thru after to grab one to bring home to my partner. I’m not sure if it’s a standard offering but I hope so! It was my first time trying grab and go products and I was very pleased.
Lastly, the woman I interacted with had such positive energy and always radiates kindness. I had her as a cashier in the past before and I remember she left the same impression on me that time. I imagine in the service industry that is not always easy, so I really want to highlight the good energy she brings to the store. I can’t recall her name but she has brown hair and a septum ring - anyway, she’s killing it with the customer service!
Thanks PCX for offering plant based options in the...
