ALDI — Local services in Washington Township

No matter how many people shop here they do not expand the store layout or increase the size of their inventory leading to a lot of empty shelves when staff don’t feel like restocking. The produce quality, overall inventory, store cleanliness, and customer service has gone down tremendously over the years. Today I was racially profiled by a white female employee or manager who felt empowered to harass me. During my self check out process, she randomly came over without a greeting or explanation and just stared at me coldly and then moved past me to analyze my checkout screen. After checking that the broccoli I had just scanned showed up correctly, she made up an excuse about not understanding the checkout machine and left with no apology or remorse! I was the only black woman checking out and she did not check the screens of the other white customers at their self checkout stations. I strongly feel if I had scanned the item incorrectly she would have been quick to start trouble even though I should not be expected to be a trained cashier when I shop at Aldi’s! I will be checking out produce junction in the not too distant future as this incident rubbed me the wrong way and made me feel uneasy at a store I shop...

I found Turnersville Aldi's to be quite clean, with a nice staff & a very pleasant atmosphere. I was able to find a REALLY great price on "Ladies Riding Boots" which I have wanted for years, so this was an exceptional find in my eyes. For anyone that knows me, I don't just spend money just because, BUT, for $19.99 I am VERY HAPPY! Also, I keep getting told I should color to destress, however, it is NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE to find coloring books w/o "Mandalas" - HOWEVER, I did JUST THAT for $9.99 AND got 15 fine-liner coloring pens in the set!! So, all in all it gave me a treat AND my 82 year old friend that's sick right now a little present too!! So, IF, you find yourself in this area - BY ALL MEANS - PLEASE TAKE THE TIME, STOP & SAY HELLO TO YOUR LOCAL TURNERSVILLE...

I have been blessed by shopping at Aldi for 35 years. There own products are even better than some name brands and you save 40 percent on shopping there without having to use coupons. If you have never shopped Aldi, you are missing out on great food, saving money, and they get all kinds of new items in to keep shopping there fun. I have only returned 2 items in 35 years, because the bottle couldn't be opened. And if you don't have time to shop use Instacart to do it, Either way you pick it up, or get it delivered. I have given holiday gifts to family and friends using Instacart in 4 states ,Florida, Minnesota, South Carolina, and Tennessee. I LOVE...
