My mom and I used to go to Elements Massage regularly, so my mom signed up for their membership. They would automatically withdraw about $100 a month for the membership and never mentioned any kind of expiration on credits. When we tried to schedule using her credits, we were told that $700 worth of credits had expired and they refused to let us use them or refund her the money. On top of that, almost each time we went in they had new employees and the massage therapists we liked from prior visits had gone. That tells me they probably don’t treat their employees well if they’re not willing to stay long term. I wish we could still go for the convenience, but that’s no way to treat loyal customers. I recommend spending your money elsewhere.
Update In response to the comment from Elements Massage: I was present for the phone call where you all were absolutely able to speak with my mom. There was no contact beforehand to notify her that her credits would be expiring, which is exactly why there was an issue. You can't tell me that there's nothing you could have done to reinstate her credits or offer her vouchers of some kind. $700 isn't nothing and your inability to notify her beforehand or offer her a refund only benefits...
Read moreFriday Jan 10 I had an appt at 8:30 am with a message to arrive by 8:15 am. . Got a call at 8:06 that it was cancelled due to weather conditions for the person that I was schedule with for the massage. Understandable. What my issue is, that when I got the call, the front desk person told me she was glad she caught me. As if I hadn't left yet. She told me my appt was cancelled due to the reason above and could I reschedule. My response was well I am in the parking lot already as I am suppose to be inside in a few minutes. I thought several things might happen and today being Tuesday and no calls back I assume those things won't happen. I first thought they would try and get me in with someone else or at least tell me they would check or offer me a discount. Is my time not worth anything? As I understand, they have a card on file and if you don't show up to your appt. I believe you are charged 50 dollars. I have am a caregiver for my son that lives with me that can't be left alone, so to make such an appt for me is in itself costly. I think it says alot for a company to have a late fee for a no show but when the tables are turned no such offer is made. For the record, services I have received there have...
Read moreI gave 2 stars instead of 1 because my massage therapist was great & I really liked her a lot, however my experience wasn't as I expected at all...First, as I was filling out the paperwork the receptionist recommended I try one of the aromatherapy (something I wouldn't normally do) but thought why not? I don't go to the spa that often so I thought I'd give it a try. My massage therapist tells me she isn't trained in that yet so we can't do that. As it's something I wouldn't normally do I wasn't really that bothered. We get to the room & the bed wasn't ready. I waited patiently for her to change the sheets and was ready to relax. Halfway into my massage I hear the door open. I was then told it was one of the other therapist. He usually works in the room we were in and we were in his room because someone was in the room she normally uses. Clearly there are some communication issues.... The part that bothers me the most is the workers knew what happened was unacceptable without me having to complain about it at all. The girl at the front confirmed my email and phone number with me before I left and said management would be reaching out to me. It's been two weeks now & I have no calls or messages from them. Very...
