I gave 2 stars for the staff effort. We ordered a personal pizza, large pizza, Big Don and a large order of cinnamon sticks. We ordered online because they never picked up the phone. The order confirmation said it would be a reasonable 30 minutes and we ordered it to pick up at the drive-thru window. When I got to the drive-thru line, it was 7 cars deep. OK, it is 7:15 so peak dinner time. Each car seemed to take at least 5 minutes to get their order. When I got to within one car of the window, I noticed that the car in front of me left the window after waiting 5 minutes without getting their food. Not a good sign. When I pulled up to the window the Donatos employee greeted me and asked for my name. He then started searching various areas and piles of boxes seemingly for my food. At one point he was bending over the oven conveyor belt peering into the oven looking for my food. He eventually came back and said the food was still in the oven and it would be another 6-7 minutes. He asked me to pull to the front and someone would bring my food out. I said "no problem" and thanked him. I pulled to the front and waited. I noticed the car behind me also pulled next to me waiting for his food. After waiting for 10 minutes, the car previously behind me got their food before me. I waited another couple of minutes and proceeded into the store. After explaining that I had waited 15 extra minutes after arriving at the window, they brought me my food that was sitting on the counter. When we got home, the large pepperoni pizza was good but wasn't super hot (I thought it was still in the oven?). The individual pizza was a veggie. It looked like the toppings were dumped on the crust quickly. The toppings were all over the box and my wife said it was like warm. The kids started digging into the cinna-sticks and we noticed that they were soggy. It turned out that they were severely undercooked (a number of raw dough sticks with cinnamon and icing on them). We had to bake in the oven for another 20 minutes. The Big Don tasted fine but wasn't hot. Since the pandemic has many take out places scrambling, I couldn't give them one star even though I think the quality deserved it. I hope the owners of the Donatos on Perimeter Loop in Dublin get their...
Read moreI had my first issue with Donatos last week when they "forgot" to deliver $60 in food that i had ordered to feed our CEO, Vice President and HR team. Their food was delivered 2 hours after scheduled time, upon delivery I received a voucher as if this took away from their disappointment in eating lunch at 2 pm vs noon. Today i decided to try them again, I ordered a pizza online for delivery and used the voucher code, to be deliver for a family members birthday. When the driver arrived he asked her for the voucher. She of course had no idea so she asked him to wait a quick second while she called me. He then yelled at her stating that he was double parked and didn't have time for this as he walked out of the door of her job with the pizza in hand. I called and spoke to the manager who had no solution and of course to excuse for his drivers unexceptionable behavior and once again offered me another voucher. I think this food chain could really use some training in...
Read moreCashier had very little interest in helping us, you could tell she didn’t know the answers and made them up as she went which tells me there is zero training and zero leadership. When we walked in we saw boxes all over the counter that someone had laying out so they could fold them to put cooked food in exposed to any and all guests that walk in. We got our drinks and quickly realized the ice machine has mold in it. So we went to our best option for a Pepsi product, Mug root beer, and it was out. We asked the cashier to swap it out and she started to tell us they didn’t have any, luckily they just had the sitting on crates behind the counter within eye sight of guests and we informed her yes you do it’s right there. So she walks off in a disgusted manor and shortly after a young man came up to exchange the syrups out. This was enough to ruin our experience before ever...
