I've been eating Chipotle probably 1-2 times per week for 15 years, and I've worked at a Chiptole before. This location has the worst portion sizes of any location I've ever been to. As a former employee, I understand that there's official portion sizes, but I also know that they're very small and not what the public expects, especially now that prices have basically doubled since 2010. The employees will even do this special little move where if you order double meat, they'll make sure that the spoons they grab are like 80% of the spoonfuls they'd give if you didn't get double. It's very blatant. And if you unfortunately find yourself at this location, or another like it, my best suggestion is you order your meat, and then once they've put the full spoonful on, then say "Actually can I get double?", that way they've already put at least the 100% spoonful on first, and now you can at least point to something objective if they try to do an 80% second scoop. The employees have clearly been coached VERY well here to do proper portioning, and they really stick to it. And yet, they manage to not follow the policy on being friendly and offering good customer service. And I also understand that, as a former employee, I know the public will get quite upset and verbally accost the employees for being skimpy, and in some neighborhoods even get violent. That wears on the employees, and you can see it on their faces as soon as you walk in here. They're all dead in the eyes, probably over being constantly yelled at. But I know that's because probably the biggest contributing factor to the GM making their bonus is the food waste, not how friendly the employees are, so it makes sense. Anyway, I'm not making this review looking for owner feedback, because if you scroll through these reviews, you'll see the owner copy/pastes the EXACT same response on every single review, sending you to their own site, they don't care. And this is their official policy anyway, the employees are technically doing what the owners want them to do here. It's just not what the public wants. So I'm reviewing to add to the other reviews you'll see if you scroll through pointing out the awful portion sizes, so the public knows to just stop going to places like this, and eventually hopefully it'll affect their bottom line and they'll realize no one wants to pay $18 for a burrito that's 80% the size of one we would've got for $10.65 in 2018. Also, a minor side note, the flavor profile here is a bit off. I don't think they season well. The rice is often totally tasteless, as if they've just not added the citrus at all. The fajitas and meat are often missing the seasoning. I once got a burrito here and thought I had suddenly come down with covid because I lost my sense of taste, but it was just the burrito had literally no seasoning in anything and the rice and fajitas...
Read moreI am disappointed, this is second time I come Chipotle. This location is first time. Only reason I spend my money in a Chipotle is because my husband never has Chipotle so I was planned for him to experience. The results is mixed. Lets first talk about this location: the time we came was passed a little rush hours so the line is not long. Pretty quick we reached counter. I chosed ck bowel and no rice on bean ( none of I would order when go to Mexican restaurant) ,so I got a little scoop of chicken and barely in the bottom of bowl, then next person give me a spoon of salsas and asked anything else (with herself no food masks and could slip some her body fluid in front of food when she talks) and rudy to tell all customers stay away from glasses separation. You could post a sign to advice, why don't you? For first time and non experienced customers,we don't know the name of the item to choose, you don't post a sign for choice, you assume everyone know what those smashing green/sauces?? At the end of line I have a barely half bowl because adding lettuce puffs up a little but really I don't get anything like order a chicken salad. My husband laughed at my order. In general if customer order a bowl, could you at least give a full bowl? Very stingy. That's how their stocks prices so high because you take advantage from customers tooo much??
Now let's talk about this Chipotle in general: I would never spend my a penny in here. Not worth my $8.75 for a chicken bowl at all. Maybe others think its a good idea because they will get rice and beans ( how much those cost?? Lol) . Or just sound healthy, but not worth in general. Too many people to fool to a business sales bean , lettuce and heavy seasoning. Sorry have to commit like this. My kid likes this so my first experience was with kid who teaches me how to order, though that location with very nice employees to take time show a first experience customer, even food not worth my money but I didn't complain due to good service.
So go ahead people, throw your money here....
Read moreJust moved to the area, and found the worst run chipotle that I’ve ever seen. This place is usually a complete mess and the service is horrible. Talked to only kid that seemed to be working at 8:30pm and he told me that he was a minor and couldn’t participate in what the others that were in the back corner of the store were doing. His hint conveyed the message of lack of accountability by the manager and ownership. Tried to talk to the others and they seemed uninterested in helping as they held fountain drinks in their hands and stared at their cell phones.
Because I enjoy chipotles food, I placed an online order for my next visit so I could skip the frat boy atmosphere. When I came to pick up my food after using their excellent app, I saw a line out the door with about 10 people waiting for their online orders. Took over half hour to get food from the expected time in the app. This is not what you should expect from a Chipotle in the other areas I’ve lived.
Bottom line, this is not acceptable. I realize the owner probably is happy with their investment in a profitable business like chipotle. But, in the few times I’ve been, there, an outright investigation needs to be done into this matter.
Be careful what you invest in, sometimes making money at others expense can lead to potential consequences if you continue to let things go. If you want stuff your pockets with money while your customers stuff their face with burritos, that is fine. But the lack of accountability and responsibility you have taken to let your employees act like that will not be tolerated and again should be...
