I visited this location right after visiting James Free Diamonds. The experience was night and day. I received exceptional service selling some jewelry to James Free. They rolled out the red carpet. They even offered me a soft drink. I then went to international diamonds. I was greeted by a sales lady who asked if I needed help. I told her I was looking to possibly sell some jewelry. She asked what I had and had me place them on a small tray and carried them to a guy that was sitting behind a desk. I guess he was the jeweler or used car salesman. What a horrible experience and night and day from their competition. No explanation or conversation whatsoever. It was very odd and the place had scratched up glass counters and stained carpet. The car salesman finished what appeared to be another job as I was watching him. Not a work, not even a question was asked. Again, weird and just an odd experience. He got up once he was done looking at my jewelry and came to me and asked what I wanted out of them. Again, weird! No, Hello. Hope your day is well, nothing personal whatsoever. Again, I will never step foot into this place again. I have heard them advertise on the radio for years. They should consider scaling that cost down and invest in some employee training and upgrade their outdated storefront. I will also post this review on other sites where they cannot simply delete their bad reviews. Yelp reviews follows businesses and tells the truth without businesses being able to modify reviews. I have given more positive reviews than negative and will continue providing good/bad customer service experiences. I’m sorry but the jeweler never gave me his name, nor would he provide me a card. Very bad...
Read moreDO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I went here (a professional jeweler) to have my wedding rings cut off. They cut off four pieces of my ring and told me I can bring it back with the pieces and have it fixed. I brought it back and two employees said “I would not have cut it that way” and said they do not know if they can use the pieces to repair it. Well I got a call today stating THEY CANT REPAIR IT AT ALL!! They cut my ring to a point of non repair!!! Their excuse was it’s a free service. So a free service turned into destruction of property!! I got that excuse from the manager directly! We are so flabbergasted that this happened and are looking into our options (not with them) but I hope this saves someone from heartbreak because I’m devastated right now hoping I can find someone to fix it.
Responding to the Owner: Funny how I get a response when you get a bad review showing the poor service you provide. Cutting a ring beyond repair means you have untrained staff working there. Also, lying to customers stating you can fix the ring once it’s cut. No one wanted to take responsibility when I came back after my pregnancy. Just because it’s a free service doesn’t mean you damage someone’s wedding rings beyond repair. If I get a free oil change and they damage my car in the process they’re liable. This is the case for your business as well. My rings are delicate which if you had proper trained staff they would have known that and would have cut them properly or told me they are unable to it to preserve the integrity of the ring. Don’t provide a service if you can’t do it correctly or at least take responsibility for the damage. As everyone can see by this owner’s response they will not take responsibility...
Read moreWhen I first got married back in 1998, I had a great buying experience with International Diamond & Gold, now called International Diamond Jewelers. Flash forward to 5/26/2023. My son recently inherited some items, gold and silver collectibles. I all but insisted that he take them to International Diamond Jewelers; BIG Mistake! Not only did we have to wait a considerable amount of time, which would have been worth it if they actually offered some of the highest prices. Not only did they not offer the highest prices, they were VERY rude and VERY unprofessional. The big Kahana spent a long time examining the items at his desk. After long consideration he came over and asked my son how much he wanted for the items. When my son came back and said he was looking to get a few offers, the guy made a snarky remark that he'd give him $50 for the $50 gold piece (actual gold). Honestly the guy was a real a$$ hat and in retrospect we should have left promptly. In greater retrospect I deeply regret even considering/recommending International Diamond Jewelers in the first place. When we actually stayed, the Kahana went in the back room and disappeared for a while. When he finally returned he plopped the items down said he'd pay between $2100-2400 for them and proceeded to walk away, like he'd just dropped the mic. We ended up going to another place where they treated us like friends and worthy customers. On top of that my son received $3,820 for his items. They only reason I gave them 2 stars is because since they buy so..... cheap, they're bound to be able to give great sales deals, but beware if you're trying to sell them...
