I was looking for a jeweler to replace the battery in my watch. The two nearest me were closed, or I couldn't find them. I finally found Bert's. I had already bought the correct battery, so somebody opened my watch, removed the old battery, and replaced it with the new battery. I was surprised that they charged me $10 for this. Super disappointed that my mother's 1970's-era Cartier earrings (bought at the flagship store in NYC) were deemed fakes. I guess the appraiser took a Time Machine back, had a look around the store, and didn't happen to see my father purchase them. What a shame because I was present, along with my brother. I went to this shop based on reviews that I had read, and the reviews that I read turned out to be true. The lady who is running the shop gave me a time—about an hour— and sure enough when I came back my stuff was ready— And when I asked how much I owed, she told me there’s “no charge!”.
