TL;DR - Their repair work was defective and they did not honor the warranty parts and services.
I brought my Google Pixel 8 in several weeks ago to have some sand cleaned out from under the front facing camera. The cost was reasonable and they were able to complete the repair within a couple hours of drop off. Great! Unfortunately, the tech accidentally cracked the screen while reinstalling the screen. They returned the phone, explained what happened, and replaced the phone screen the next day when the parts arrived. If the story ended there, I'd give them 5 stars. Things happen, they were honest, and they fixed the phone.
However, a few weeks later, a vertical green/purple/white line appeared on the newly-installed screen. This is a well-documented hardware or installation problem on the Pixel 8 line, and clearly covered within their warranty. Without looking at it, the tech told me that it was the result of an impact (never happened, lives in a case and has an undamaged screen protector) or simply putting it in my pocket (?), and thus my responsibility. Blaming "wear and tear" is a catchall cop out. They probably blame every defect that comes back as a user error in order to slither out of their warranty guarantee.
They wanted to charge $250 for a screen replacement, which is twice as expensive as Google's repair service.
In sum, there are better, more trustworthy options. Take your business elsewhere.
